Think about it: we had a 27 year old 6'10" center giving us 13 ppg; 9rpg; 1spg; 1bpg and 53% fgp and we traded it for a 6'6" SF/PF who is third on the depth chart at whatever position he can play.

Sorry I'm still not buying it - you're going by numbers here, they don't tell the whole story. You could easily stack up KT to him that way - he gave us 11.4 ppg, 10.4 rpg, 0.9 spg, 1.0 bpg and 47% fgp. But it's easy to say he's not a good center because we watched him, right? Well I watched Nazr too and my opinion is he's not a good center. Isiah rehabbed his image and turned his value into somthing a lot better for the team. Now i happen to value the 2 late first-rounders a lot more highly than you do. Believe me, I'm no Malik Rose fan but I do think a contender will want him at some point next season. I'm just saying I'm very happy to get rid of either Nazr or Kurt for 2 first-rounders.

The Knicks would never go anywhere with Nazr as the starting center. The fact that we were able to trade him for 2 first round picks and a extremely solid role player in Malik Rose is a plus for the Knicks. I think the player that Zeke takes with pick 30 which he got from the Spurs will be better Nazr so the trade is already a huge plus.

nazr really isnt a great player but hes a decent body but just wasnt enuff for New York. I think hunter is a better fit for for San Antonio. He would help solidfy a great defensive team with the athleticism, rebounding and most importnatly, shotblocking.

SA would regain some of what they loss when Robinson retired without the offensive threat.
A lot of players would play better next to a dominant force its just we dont have a player of that caliber.

No one on this board ever said that Nazr was the answer at Center, We have always said that Nazr is a much better asset than Kurt...Given the right system, he would provide a lot more than what Kurt currently offers...Nazr is not a Center nor Kurt...

Again, I don't care who we draft at this point, because whoever that is, he will never get in the game because of that dumb bastard.

I wasn't comparing Nazr to Kurt. I was responding to your saying that it was a dumb trade. Nazr wasn't going to be our answer at center - I'd rather look elsewhere and use the 2 #1's, plus Rose's trade value to a contender. I'd have been just as happy making that trade for Kurt as I was for Nazr.
