I still want Warrick if someone like Green doesn't fall our way because he is the most polished, can play both forward positions, and still has all-star potential. I would like to see him develop at SF, but i don't mind seeing him at PF either, alongside someone like Big Z at center and Tim Thomas or Lamar Odom at SF. Warrick could be one of the most athletic PFs in the game.
As for other prospects, Taft is nice, i just hope he can do more than Wilcox has done. Bynum is a nice prospect, but not anywhere near gonna help us. I've heard people say hes gonna be at least like Eddy Curry at worst, which is untrue. Granted he's bigger, but Curry had an extremely polished post game coming out of high school that Bynum doesn't have. Bynum, right now is no more than DeSagana Diop. He's big and athletic, but that only gets you blocks and rebounds until you develop a little. Diop can do those things, and expect nothing more than that from Bynum until he gets a post game. He's def got the potential though.
No, not true. If anything, offense is the best part of Bynum's game and would have to work on the defensive part. He needed to work on all facets of his body because a bone bruise caused him to ballon to 335. He got down to 300 for the MCD game and now he is 275 and has stomach muscles that show very well, so he isnt going lower than 275 at 7-1. He's going to be tough to handle in the post in 2 years. He's still growing in height per his doctor, he's already 7-1 with ver long arms and he has a nice touch around the basket, a nice jump hook, nice hands.
We'll see. the kid we saw at MCDs is not the kid going to this practice. Now he did pretty well in limited minutes, but he isnt hurt anymore and hes 25 pounds lighter and will have gone through a lot of etxra court time practice. If this kid shows much improved speed and skills are more polished, watch out because he will sky up into the lottery.
were not talking 6-9 245, were talking 7-1 275
