KT has way better numbers than Nazr and has consistently been better. That being said, I do hope that IT can trade KT for something. Right now KT is much better than Nazr and KT has no offensive game other than hitting outside spot up shots. Nazr isn't really all that and if Chris Taft is available to the Knicks at #8, we should take him. I think that Taft is a better player than Nazr on both ends of the floor. Remember, the knock on Taft isn't his size or ability; it's his motor that has been questioned. More than a few scouts think Taft caught 'NBA-itis', and that affected his play. Like he playing not to hurt his draft position, which he ended up doing anyway by not playing to his potential. Believe me, a year ago, Taft was a top 3 pick. The skills are still there, it's just his mindset being questioned.

Nazy puts in work. Theres nothing i can say wrong about Nazy. Kurt,his jumper is not going down he is scoreless. I think he had 80 freethrows this year. Now let that sink in ...80 freethrows throughout a season, thats terrible. I dont even think he could dunk.

Have to agree with Bonn here. If the same deal could've been done with Kurt in Nazr's place, that would've been better.

The only thing I will say is that I'm not sure we get the same package in return for Kurt Thomas.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

IMO Kurt=Nazy in overall effectiveness. They do very different things but I think they're both decent players, good character guys, reasonably priced and good SUPPORT or BACKUP frontline players. The problem of course is that they were the STARTING STALWARTS of our front line.

gotta agree, we're not a good enough team for those guys to start for us. they arent reall the problem our overall talent level is.

If the Knicks get the right players to surround Marbury, Kurt's dependability as a sixth man would be helpful. I'm not saying I even want the knicks to keep him; i'd rather they trade him for someone younger. But I don't see him as the team cancer you do.
