Nyk4ever made a good point. Reggie Miller is rail thin like Crawford but he still plays good defense. It really is a mentality. Crawford doesn't have it and never will. It not only because he's 6-5 190. We need perimeter defense but we dont need it as much as we need a frontcourt presense especially since Ariza will hopefully give us perimeter defense from the 3 like Spree used to.

Im very high on Nate and I know what type of talent Mccants has. Look at their team records, look at their numbers, look how NC went down a notch when McCants was out. If Nate was 6-1, hed be a top 5 pick, even still at 5-9 he is unique. Mccants would be a nice value pick at 20 or so.If the Knicks ended up picking Granger and Nate alone that would be a big improvement--i see the opening to get a potntial devastating C, and I realize how much importance a big man can have.
I just dont want to see us give up like 7 things for Lamar Odom and Brian Grant, almost anything would appease me--that would not.
