First of all your just wrong. Second Penny played SG and Ariza at SF. Ariza only moved to SG when Penny and Crawford were out. Penny still got more minutes gimpy and ineffective while Ariza sat. The only reason Ariza got minutes at the end was Tim Thomas reinjured his vagina. Before then you can see had stretches where he barely even got into game. They practically tried everything they could to keep Ariza on the bench starting JYD or going with Malik Rose for 30 minutes.

Wake up... this team, this organization, this staff isnt about developing young talent. Its about overpaying crappy recycled players so we have a shot at hosting 2 playoff games.

c'mon- give the knicks more credit than that- they'd draft bogut and trade him & penny for some washed up injured ex-star- perhaps a s&t for Antoine Walker & LaFrentz

was there one game where Ariza played more minutes than Penny? Was there even one? Maybe he "competed" with Penny because Penny was gimpy he couldnt run up and down the court. This has nothing to do with playing a young guy, this has to do with Penny not being able to perform.

If we are developing young players and talent why does Ariza get 5 minutes and a DNP late in the season when we are eliminated? WHY? Tim gets hurt and Ariza is back to getting minutes.. but its only because of Isiah right? Man.. do you actually believe the garbage you spout?

Herb is not the coach for this team.

Yeah he pretty much proved that those last couple of games. Coach DNPs for Ariza, Butler while he knows that fans wanted to see those guys play. You go and draft your Greens, Tafts, Warricks, Hodges, or whoever, Coach Williams has demostrated that he would not play those guys if it meant that his job security would be in question. If Houston wants to come back, his starting spot will be given to him under Williams.

You can call it garbage, but I actually do believe that Penny (even when healthy) at $15 mil got comparable minutes to Ariza at $ 0.3 mil. And it's because they actually did get comparable minutes.
