Funny you mentioned Walker. I take a different take, yes he's erradic but the bottom line is this guy is a good player and can definatly be a part of a winning bb team. How many clutch shots does he have to hit before people respect his game?

Do I want him? Not at this age and stage of his career, but he could easily duplicate with us what Jamison did for Chi. Put a 20/8/5 player in the frontcourt and it goes a long way to loosen things up for everyone else. That seems to escape people... all they ever focus on is the 2-11 ion a bad half.

Tell me.. how did that game end? Who won? Who hit big shots and couldnt be guarded down the stretch?

I go back and forth on walker, I think he has matured, and then I see games like yesterday where he was big down the stretch and I go yea, he has come a long way, but then I think back to when he faced stiff comp, like kenyon and the nets, and he got owned by martin, It just makes me wonder if the pacers had artest last night...hmmm

anyway, walker makes the comment that he thinks miller has played his last game in Indiana... LOL.. dangerous and comedic move walker... when reggie hears that.. watch out!! game 7!! I would not piss reggie off...

Celts are: Team gazy!

Oh man, Dumb old Paul with his gazy masking tape jaw just mailed it in and lost! Had the series put away but Dumb Paul being dissed is more important than the team moving to the next round.

Maybe he can do kick boxing in the off season!

Celtic/Pacer series observations:
1. Rick Carlisle is a much underrated coach. It is obvious to me that the Bird/Carlisle connection is a wise match. Give the Pacers credit for perserverance in light of a tumultuous season.
2. The Celtics are a squad heading in the right direction. With youth already in place and a few tweaks in the offseason, they'll remain a highly competitive team in the East.
3. I certainly can see why Zeke came away impressed with Doc Rivers. I feel that despite the headcases on the current roster, he did an excellent job coaching the Celtics.
4. Antoine Walker will not be a Celtic next year (and hopefully not a Knick). Also, I don't expect Ricky Davis to be there either.
5. Stephen Jackson was a real difference maker in game 7 with his energy and passion to win. Pieces like him are what I'd be looking for as I filled my roster this summer.
We will NEVER win with Marbury as our cameo guy.

Rick Carlisle is an amazing coach. Coach of the year in my book! best young coach in the game!

Maybe, but Boston would look really bad then because they would have given up a 1st rd pick just to keep Walker for a few weeks and then let him go.

They gave up a pick? I thought they only gave up Payton to get Antoine.

Antoine the clown, I said that his comments about Miller playing his last game at home would come to bite him in the rear end.... Why was that comment even necessary? especially with a game 7 on the line.. what a fool, Doc rivers told them about that trash talking, some clowns just don't know how to behave.....

a little trash talk is all in good fun as long as you could back it up.

with that said, reggie miller is wrong guy you wanna talk trash to/about

I thought they did but I could be wrong. (There would have been no incentive for Atl to do the trade if it was just for Payton because Payton was released immediately.)
