see that's what scks. If anyone thinks Marbury is better than Baron Davis, they are out of their mind. at minimum its a draw. what did we give up for marbury and what did they give up for davis.?

we dont have J-Rich Pietrus and a multitude of young 7 footers running around to go with marbury.

If you don't mind having a PG who will play 50 games and miss 32, then it's a draw

Marbury is a scrub in a sense that he is a career looser, but he is still a very talented player.

I personally can't stand him, but that is an opinoin. Realistically, if this team had more talent, they could have been better, Marbury or no Marbury.

The thing with him, he is just a start player out there, he is not going to take a team on his back. But very few people can.

They are Lebron, Duncan, Shaq, it used to be Garnett, but that's about it for gusy who can just do it by themselves.

None of those guys will win much without a solid team. It didn't use to be Garnett. He just used to have a better team (or guys playing better). Put Marbury's 11 active teammates with any of those players and I doubt you'll have an above .500 team.

If Baron was on the Knicks he would be getting ripped for shooting under 40% a yr. For missing so many games especially playoffs every yr. For not getting his weight under control. For shooting so much though not at a good %. He gets steals but he doesn't play great defense. Marbury made him look like an old man when we played them. And averages less assist than Marbury every season. Thats just the ways Knicks treat there players. As soon as Davis were to miss a playoff game he would be called a *****.

GS had a decent core of players in Fisher, Richardson, Duneleavy, Murphy, Peitrus, Biedriens. Getting Davis for Dale Davis & Claxton to go with that mix is great and steal as long as B diddy stays healthy. They will be real fun to watch.
