First of all, if it's pretty obvious what are you debating this with me for?

Second, don't be naive enough to think that by winning a few meaningless games in the final few days of the season will help Herb's cause any in keeping his job. Isiah will go after a bigname coach whether Herb has this team winning the rest of the games from here on out or not. That's reality too. Very obvious.
After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.

Herb's fighting for a job on a team; it doesn't have to be this one. I'm sure he's smart enough to realize that it will only help him get hired somewhere if he gets wins and hurt his chances if he gets losses.

I like Herb's attitude.

If you are a competitor, you don't start a race and give up.

You fight to the end, even if you are in last place.

The only thing worse than a looser is a quiter.

Now Isiah could talk to Herb and probably ask him to play some of the younger players more- put KT & TT on ice with their injuries. I think that's a little different

I don't see why Herb would do that unless he was guaranteed a spot here next year. Without having a job here next year, he needs to build a resume by getting wins.
