sure you can. there's no point in winning anymore. The most important thing is that the young players play so that they don't look like deers in headlights next year and in the process improve our draft position so that we avoid not only missing out on Bogut but missing out on Green and Taft as well. By playing the kurts, rose, taylors of the world we will win more games than we should but where is it getting us? when all these guys are not part of the future and we already know how far the vets on this team will get us. To consecutive 30win seasons. Yet it appears the KTs of the world are still going to get 36mins a night even when we're mathimatically eliminated after we lose today because Herb is going to want to save his job unless Isiah tells him what to do hopefully.

ha! did you see that shot of Butler next to Sweetney. Butler clearly has at least 2 inches on Sweets. Butler is a legitimate 6-10 to me!

That's assuming you believe Sweets is a legit 6'8.

This is a pretty dull game.

Wow, the Lakers were hitting impossible shot after impossible shot..... I think teams LOVE to play the Knicks and suddenly have confidence in every shot.. seems like a psychological thing

On that note, their transition D was horrible tonight... everytime a Knick guard drove the lane, the Lakers were out on a break

How can you win when you are not getting production out of key starters? We are a very inconsistant bunch; one night one will go for 60, and the next he will not even score in the double digits. I am pissed of the fact that Herb continues to use Marb and Kurt for 40 plus minutes, while guys like Ariza, Sweetney and Butler didn't even get in the game.

Marbury, KT & Crawford all had good games last night & they still lost so i don't get that last point you made there...i do agree that it's puzzling why Herb's refusing to play Butler, Ariza & Sweetney more, but maybe the team is trying to showcase guys like KT, Mo Taylor & Rose so that other teams will have a good look at them going into the offseason? who knows...you're not going to get much back for Ariza, Sweetney or Butler even if they do decide to trade them, so maybe this is a sign that Isiah plans on holding onto all 3 of those guys? just my guess.
