it could be a high school player, it could be a foreign guy like petro, splitter, vasquez if they slip or it could even be a college guy. Whoever it is I trust that Isiah made a great pick because he's going to pick the guy who impressed him the most and history has shown that if a guy impresses Isiah he's going to be a pretty good nba player.

thing is a 2-2 result is almost as bad as going 0-4...actually, it's worse imo, since you neither gain ground on the teams above you in the playoff hunt, & you stay above the teams below you for the top lottery pick as well...spinning wheels in the mud is the worst possible scenario...either they need to go 3-1 & have a legitimate shot at making a run in the coming weeks, or they need to lose all 4 games & shoot for the lottery pick.

2-2 is bad if you make assumptions about how the teams ahead of us will do. They're all sub-.500 teams (slightly) and most of them are struggling. Who knows if 2-2 results in neither gaining nor losing ground?

yeah, I was reading the bloids and they mentioned 2-2 would be a success. IMO, 3-1 and I'll still be a believer...I don't want to have to play the celtics in boston the last game of the season and have our fate decided and Mo T has a bad game and all hell breaks loose.

BTW...did you see orlando get blown out last night by Charlotte and the nets lose to Memphis. (I could see the nets folding their tents w/ another loss)

so, it looks like we are now 3.5 out of 8th, 4.5 out of 7th and 6 games out of 5th (yes, 5th).

Tonight's key games:
Toronto v. Philly (can the sixers really be that good)
Detroit v. Indiana (detroit is looking bad bad bad, but can they do this one favor for us?)

And ofcourse, Knicks v. Seattle.
