Rafer definitely wouldn't be one of my top choices, but I still would trade for him if the price were very low. He can definitely play. And the Raptors might try to get out of his contract. What I had in mind was just something like Mo Taylor and a 2nd rd pick for Rafer or JYD (who everyone in Toronto loves) for Rafer

no thanks to that JYD offer...i would much rather hold onto JYD.

Mo T for Rafer straight up i'm not even sure i would do...Rafer's contract is on the books until 2010! ouch...i have a hard time believing he'll be happy playing as a backup for that long a time...i realize it's not for an exorbitant amount of salary, but for that long a term you'd hope the guy doesn't come w/personality issues...i don't know Bonn...i think i'd rather just sign guys like Lindsey Hunter for short term deals & try to develop a young PG sometime down the road to eventually take over for Stephon.

Or just draft a PG. There are plenty of guys in college and the NBA who can do what Rafer does, and then some, for a lot cheaper. Lindsey Hunter, as TMS said, is an excellent example.
