Thanks for the links...

Vasquez is someone with tremedous length. He won't be able to guard the post, and projects to a SF... ala Kirelenko.

I hate to break it to you, but its looking more and more like Splitter is gonna be gone by the time we pick.

i hear you but a few days ago people were calling him a bust and saying that Petro is better just because of 1 dunk.

I will wait and see what the Knicks do. They haven't gone on a winning streak since JVG left so I'm not convinced that they will go 10-6, 11-5, 12-4 and make the playoffs. As much as I would like them to.

I think its a lot more realistic to expect a pick in the 7-11 range and i have a good feeling that like Nene, Splitter or Vazquez will be available to us with the 7 or 8th pick. Hopefully the college guys come out and usually they do.

I wouldn't say Petro is better, but I'm warming to Petro because it looks like he will be around when we pick. I think we'll probably finish ahead of Milwuakee and Toronto, and that would put us at 10.

I agree. If Splitter or Vazquez slip to the 10th spot which is possible then great if not then I will be perfectly happy with Petro and hopefully another 1st round pick we get for Kurt and draft a CJ Miles, garcia, McCants, wright, and robinson, ewing or hodge in the 2nd round if they are available.
