I think a Shawn Marion type player is a fair expectation for Ariza.

He's 19 years old, his jumper will come, so will his defense. He's shown a good basketball IQ, a tenacity to rebound, and he gives it his all. In 4 years he'll be 23 and still improving as a player. He's super athletic, and I think he's capable of doing all the things Marion does now.

last night I saw ariza do something I havent in the past. He took a pass, took a few dribbles to the baseline, rose up and hit a jumper, to me, he is picking new things up every game, and that isa plus, once his jumper becomes consistent and he works on his handles, he will be money..

I think Reezy was wrong to come out so early, but Im glad we got him.

His game shows more flaws cuz he is getting minutes that count, and teams have scouted him.

This kid is much more than a dunker right now. He has instincts that make him valuable even when he does not score. He can rebound, which takes skill and instincts!

This kid has so much upside, I think he can be a grant hill type player. Hey, Grants game was nice as a sophmore, but it took time. T

I hope he is more than a T-mac! More rebounds, more leadership, and more to make those around him better.

I agree nalod, his decision to come out early did work out for us though and lord knows we need breaks like that. I can see him as a grant hill type of player and if that is the case then that draft for IT will go down as one of the best picks in history.... I am becomming less of a T-mac fan, and looking at Houston and how mediocre they are is a reflection of T-mac more than anything.. anyway I see a lot better things in store for ariza, the knicks need to nuture that.. make him their priority!!

Trevor is eventually going to have a nice shot.

There are only six knicks with a higher percentage shooting this year.

Allan by a smidge.

Then Marbury and the rest are front court players- KT, Nazr, JYD & Sweets.
