Its not even a qeustion, so to Playa, why bother asking obvious things?

it has nothing to do with his rep! when someone's belief is that Vince Carter is injury prove and nearing 30 and is too much of a risk and although today Carter is clearly a better player than Crawford, but still doesn't address the fact that we need an elite bigman if we're ever going to win a title, it has nothing to do with someone's reputation. Vince Carter is not leading is to a championship!

you nailed it. Carter is too injury prone and he is getting older.

VC can play. But I would question a guy that not only tanks but comes out and admits it. With the possible exception of Kobe and Shaq (and their were two of them and they are extreme talent) most teams need superstars who are leaders. VC has disqualified from that catagory.

On the otherhand unless Crawford really improves he's not taking us any place either.

I agree but at least with Crawford I don't worry about him having to miss a game because he broke a nail. What happens when Carter comes to the knicks and gets a ton of money and then re-injures himself. It would be Allan Houston all over again. I didn't even bring up the fact that he is not a leader and will lead us to nowhere.

Look Marbury is only gonna be 28 this yr which gives him another good 2 to 3 yrs before he can win A CHAMPIONSHIP..

Crawford is 25 this yr and has got great potential to be an all-star. Sweetney is another player if he gets the playing time, can be a prolific 4 in this league.. He too can be an all-star.

This Knicks team don't necessarily need another all-star. It would be great but not required if they want to win a championship.
What they really need is more size upfront with one particular individual that can patrol the middle with shot blocking skills.

A man in the middle that can cover Sweetney's back.. So Zeke needs to load up front with size and defense..
