i'm here briggs.

now, where's person who thought we were 7-20?
It was 7-22, and it was probably the most uneducated prediction anyone here has made. It's funny that he would laugh at anyone else's prediction

Who predicted that?

I never said the knicks would go 7-22 7-20 i said what if and its a possibility. i think for the most part i have said between 37 and 42 wins. I think ill be close to the low end of that--maybe 35-36

I see. Wasn't sure if it was your prediction or not. Ok. So people are bragging about being 4 games under instead of 15. IMHO, your prediction is a better case scenario and would've had us getting a high pick.

In all honesty, I picked 45 wins, but clearly I had a little kool aid in my iced tea. Now I see that we won't even come close enough to touch the 45 win plateau without, at least, a trade to solidify this team. This team has a lot of issues. Without addressing our big men need, we're waiting for Nazr, Kurt, Sweetney to become superstars. I'd be happy if one was an all-star. It won't happen.

I was down for 45 wins as well before the season started (yeah, I'm really an unfair hater). I'm not afraid to admit how wrong I was. I obviously gave Isiah and the Knicks far too much credit.

Where is Isiah during this 8 of 9 skid? I'm pretty sure we'd be seeing his smiling face everywhere if they had just won 8 of 9. It's funny how that happens. I guess Letterman was fully booked.
If it didn’t work in Phoenix with Nash and Stoutamire... it’s just not a winning formula. It’s an entertaining formula, but not a winning one. - Derek Harper talking about D'Antoni's System

You mean besides your prediction that the Phoenix Suns ownership was destroying the franchise by signing Steve Nash, right? It's funny that you would ridicule anybody else's predictions.

After the next 9 games, the Knicks might as well be 7-22.
My Suns comment was before they made several changes over the offseason and thus before we knew the Suns roster. You really can't blame someone for a prediction before huge roster changes are made. After the Knicks were 10-18 and before Layden was fired, I don't think anyone would have predicted that the Knicks would win 55% of the remaining games last year either. In contrast, we knew the exact Knicks roster when Briggs made that goofy 7-22 thread.

Huge roster changes? Signing Q Richardson is a "huge roster change"? I like him but he's the difference between ruining their team for years and having the best record in the league? Funny but most people who know anything about basketball think that Steve Nash was the huge addition that transformed the Suns. You know, the move that you completely bashed. And wasn't your prediction that the Suns had maxed out their payroll and couldn't add anybody of consequence? Guess you had that one wrong too.

Just say that you were flat out wrong and that you really shouldn't be ridiculing anybody else for their predictions since you've been very wrong yourself.
Actually, I was correct. In the Zone Forums after I heard the Suns got Nash and Q-Rich, I predicted that they would win their division.

The only thing I didn't like about the Nash signing was the length of his contract, which expires after he turns 37. I never doubted that replacing Barbosa with Nash as the starting PG would have an enormous impact this year. That's why I correctly predicted that the Suns would win their division. (Or at least it's correct so far).

In contrast, Briggs' goofy 7-22 thread was after we already knew the Knicks' roster. The team was 16-13 by the way after the 29 game mark!

After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.
