face the facts dude, we lost to New Orleans with the same team or very similar to the team that went 29-24.
were not that bad, wer just not good.

Heat won on a b-b without wade? wade is better than anything we have out combined*2. Crawford is not a Kirilenko type, hes not even a top 75 player in the league. 100mm $ teams shouldnt complain about fringe injuries, like we are the only club to have them EVERY team has injuries every team--so when everything is added up, you get the same equation. we are LUCKY we dont have something like the Nets have, Kidd out first portion of year lose Martin and then RJ. all of those players are much much better than crawford.

If you are saying this team is so bad, you are castigating isiah, because oit his decisions--he brought in everyone except Thomas and houston. so according to you he made th****tiest roster in the league. thats not the case

it's obvious that there was alot of hype surrounding this team. coming from not only the fans, but isiah, lenny, and the players. things were looking up for a while but then reality set in and showed that although we may be talented offensively, we are light years behind defensively. it also showed that almost every other team got better and we are bunched in with about 90% of the league. so has it been a disappointing season, so far, i would have to say so. nobody thought h20 was going to look this gimpy but the biggest dissapointment is tim's reggression. i don't think anybody took that into account. so it's dissapointing b/c of what alot of people thought we could be, which was a 45-47 win team.

now, with that said, i think we're still better off in the long run. heck, we may possibly start gelling and maybe rattle off 20 of the next 30-35. it's possible. all depends how the players respond to our current situation and how they fit together for the rest of the season.

starting backcourt has been upgraded. i don't think anybody can dispute that. but we have major problems with every frontcourt position. let's see what the roster looks at come november. that's been said a million times but what else can you say as a knicks fan right now. it's obvious what our needs are. now we just need some time to address them.

so in response to this thread, yes, excuses are BS b/c we lost to the worst team in the league. we are a .500 team with the biggest payroll in the league. so now what do we do? a plan is in place, let's give it some time to execute.

What teams in the NBA have a worse starting lineup than

Marbury
Houston
JYD
Kurt
Nazy
bench - Ariza, Moochie

PG - Baron Davis
SG - J.R. Smith
SF - Lee Nailon
PF - Rodney Rogers
C - P.J. Brown
bench - Dickau, Anderson, Nachbar

There is your list of players who played in that game. Is there anyone here who can say the Hornets who played that night are a superior team to the one the Knicks put on the floor?
Wow; you were only able to come up with one (debatable) team. I guess you're admitting now that the team that took the floor in the last game is the 2nd worst starting lineup in the league. That's very different from what you were saying in another forum!

look Bonn, if you want to argue what i say on another forum, do it there...i have always been consistent in my replies to you so don't try & twist anything i say over there to anyone reading this forum...they don't know what you're talking about anyway.

as for your reply, i made that comparison to point out how sorry a team that Hornets roster was that beat the Knicks the other night...i wasn't even trying to come up w/any "list"...now feel free to twist things to whatever you like to try & prove some point you're trying to make, but your case is weak...the Knicks should have beaten that Hornets team, plain & simple, but they didn't
After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.
