Defining moment for Nets was when they let KMART go: In fact, I don't think RJ gets hurt if not for the KMART blunder.

Yeah man letting KMart go was monumentally stupid - but also firing Scott was a pretty bad move too....Frank is only living off the team that Scott and Kidd built - not his own coaching talent.

But letting Kmart go definitely signaled the beginning of the end.

no kmart?
no rj?
no zo?
kidd with knee injury?

man...fire frank. i mean, it's all his fault, right?

I can see that this kind of a tongue in cheek diss on the Knick fans such as myself whom think it's Lenny's coaching...Lenny is not a defensive coach and defense WINS championships and games. The Knicks are a very offensive oriented team, especially with JYD in the lineup. I do not think it is Lawrence Frank's fault because HE IS A GOOD COACH. Lenny's time is up. He is done. He will probably ride out the season and Isiah will let him go.

Now that makes alot of sense??
fishmike 9/27/2024 11:00 PM Ug I hate this. The idea of Towns is great until you see what a pussy he is. Jules is a dog. DD was a flamethrower locked up cheap for 3 more years. First Leon move I hate

That commercial is so lame. Who wants a wussy heaving up 3's as a cornerstone of their franchise? Hopefully they'll stop airing it now! Sorry RJ.

i'm just joking around but how can you assess that frank is a good coach after only 60 or so games?

you know, I'd feel bad for the nets, but given how much bad luck and torment we were subjected to in the past few years (some of it partially caused by the jkidd nets), I'm actually feeling a little bit happy right now with this piece of news

Long Island...you are just being plain silly...Lenny is a defensive coach, the knicks just aren't a listening team.
Wait until we have a full team (we've only had that for 7 games)
all kool aid all the time.

IMO, it could not have happened to a more sportsman-like player as well. What a shame

Now RJ is taking a page out of Fugazy's book...."Chauncy is to blame, he plays dirty" blah blah blah.

When Fugazy called out the Nets everyone jumped on his back - so now that RJ is calling Billups dirty lets see what happens.
