BECAUSE WE SUCK THAT IS WHY YOU MAKE THAT MOVE. THIS TEAM NEEDS A SHAKEUP NOW!!!!
JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

The only shakeup we should do is a move like KT for Chandler or Kwame Brown or Muhammad for Dalembert. And continue to build on the core of Marbury-Crawford-Ariza-Sweetney. Crawfords(19pts) also has been missing the last 7games while Sweetney has been out the last 2 thats hurts bigtime.

Personally, I do believe that it was a mistake trading for Crawff. However, knowing that JYD was part of the deal, I tolerated it. I wanted the Knicks to go after Hughes instead, because living here in Maryland, I have the luxury to watch this dude develop into the player that he is today. Crawf takes too many bad shots, and most of all, he doesn't play D consistantly. Hughes is actually underated. He is an excellent shooter, and he handles the ball fairly well. He and Marburry in a backcourt would have been the best backcourt in the league for sure. Hughes would have been ideal for the Knicks, He would have came at a very affordable price, and we could have possibly have the chance to pry away Haywood in that deal. Isiah was too busy trying to get Dampier, he failed to see the big picture. Look at Haywood and Hughes today, they are doing just fine....

gimme a break...there was no one on this board that was saying "let's make the trade in order to get JYD" dude...Crawford was always the centerpiece of that deal for everyone who were in favor of that trade...JYD was only a nice bonus.

Crawford also won many games for us this season. If he wasn't hitting game winning shots he was scoring 15pts in a quarter to bring us back or finish off the opponent. He came out as a freshman in college and missed basically his whole 2nd season with a serious injury(not related to the turf toe he has now). He has some things to learn but skys the limit with him. He is 24 now he can be an unstoppable scoring machine at 26-27.
