I can't believe this, the guy is having a career year, and here you go trading him.

K Brown is no differnet then TT, ooooohhhh so much potential but ooooohhh soooo inconsistant. Please this guy is not a late bloomer, he's a inconsistant player who needs to take his off seasons a lot more serious. At the rate he's going who knows if he'll ever turn into the player Jordan thought he was getting.

when you see this team ready to compete for an nba championship, do you see nazr as your starting center?

if yes, then no need to keep reading.

if not, then b/c he's having a career year is exactly when you trade him. like somebody else posted before, SELL HIGH. he is not the answer at center. i like him but if you have the chance to get one of those young big men, you make the deal, no questions asked. it may be a gamble but one anybody would make, kiki, dumars, and even, gasp, jerry west.

secondly, when one is 22 years old, tall and athletic, he has alot of time to become a really good player. let's say you make this deal, and it takes 2-3 years to develop him and he turns into o'neal. then you have a franchise player for the next 10 years. on the flip side, let's say he's no better than he is right now, then you have a young, athletic player that can still produce with dunks with marbury and crawford penetrating. so the loss isn't huge. nazr is not taking us to the finals. and the upside is enormous.

that's why keeping nazr should not be the case for one of these young'n's.

"if kwame meets 80% of his...blah blah blah"

Kwame = Tim Thomas.

Kwame is a good player. I really like his game. I would rather trade Kurt Thomas for him or Sweetney. I think the combination of Nazr and Kwame would be really good. I remember one game when Kwame shut down J. Oneal.His kid really has low post moves as well as hops.

You've gotta trade players who have hit their peak for ones whose peak can be miles higher. The Knicks should definitely do this trade if they can.
I agree with TMS about trading him for any of those players listed too.

Those of you who wish to trade Nazr for Kwame, you need to go and get your head checked. Kwame will never have what it takes to be a great player, Nazr may not be great, but his work ethic and so does Sweetney's are reason to retain those two. He is not big enough to play Center, but so is Ben Wallace. The hell with that Kwame trade, trust me Isiah is a brilliant man, he will never trade for Kwame.....He will do his homework first. He has yet to show any desire to even inquire about Kwame.....

Hell yea. I would trade Nazr for Kwame. I can see it...Aguierre trains a Jermaine O'Neal clone and Knicks contends in the playoffs for the next 10 years. Why not?

I was against the Dalembert trade- but with Kwame, I could see a worst case scenario being that his production equals Nazr's- so the trade is no upgrade in talent, but you get younger.

Now, Kwame has a bit of upside and could be better than Nazr.

Nazr for Kwame straight up? No way....Nazr for Kwame and Etan Thomas or Brendon Haywood....I'll do...Kwame isn't worth Nazr the way Nazr is playing he is worth a Wilcox or a Nene....guys who have truly shown potential...Curry would be great, but he and Kwame have shown nothing, and even when their potential does leak out, it's in VERY small doses...Remember Korleone Young?

If we don't think that well of Nazr, why would anyone want to trade for him?

I think we can get Kwame or Chandler for Kurt and our draft pick. The problem is you can't trade your first rounder 2 years in a row. Unless Stern cuts us a break
