I guess those clown shoes are tough to play hoops in!

This does suck, he has been our best scorer, even if he needs 15 shots!

Allan is not ready for big minutes. He has a tough time in lateral movements.

TT is set at the SF, Azira will get min as his back up.

This is not a terrible thing, we are not a great team, and this spread out min to players needing development!

We'll live!

omg this blows!

Houston better play great because I'd rather have Jamal coming off the bench as back up SG and a few PG min

3 - 6!?? So basically it is the same team that got their butts kicked last year. This sucks, and just when i finally got tickets to a game. I agree with some of you guys though, Sweets should definitely start. Too bad Kurt has been a top shooter.

hey.. what a coincidence, I just posted this and didnt even realize someone had started this thread.

This isnt the end of the world here. I'm kind of interested to see what Lenny does. Penny is out indefinatly. His hammy is so bad it hurts when he walks. Crawford is out for a month. I'm guessing its 20 games before we get either back. I wonder if Lenny will se if Ariza can guard 2's. My guess is he can (he just doesnt shoot well).

Hopefully Houston is feeling good.. there will sure be a lot of minutes for him. Also we have never seen Houston and Marbury together for any stretch of time.

I'm not that worried... whats the worse that can happen? We lose every game and go to the lottery? That would probably be a good thing.

like Briggs said, any good (not great) team has to play through theses things.

I guess we all get to see the 3-guard lineup of Marbury, Houston, Moochie we have all been waiting for.

What did you guys expect from 6'5 165lb string bean he was due.

Know you understand why a guy with his type of handle is afraid and has to be coaxed to get in the paint more often.

the injury is a result of his foot getting stepped on. How does this have anything to do with his build?

At least its a legit injury as opposed your girlfriend Wince "I cant play because of a bellyache" Carter.

It has nothing to do with his build. Anyone who thinks it does knows nothing about basketball. Over the past 2 years, Jamal has been one of the most durable players in the league, averaging 80 games a season.

No, I saw the play on the highlights. He actually fumbled forward and dug his foot awkwardly into the floor. there was no one stepping on his foot.

Are you sure? I thought Jamal said that his foot got stepped on. Maybe you saw that happen after the initial injury.

Regardless, if football players can get turf toe, then it obviously has nothing to do with being too thin, playa!

I think this is a wonderful opportunity for the Knicks to come together as a unit. Houston was always meant to be the starter and now this is the opportunity to properly balance the team. Crawford has been too erratic and Houton can bring that stablizing effect we seek. Houston does need to get the ghosts out of his head that are telling him he cannot do it when we all know he can. His knee will be fine and once he realizes that we can get much better D from him than we have been seeing. Lets not forget that the Knicks were markedly improved after the steph trade and we went to the playoffs because of the Steph, Houston, TT lineup. I still believe we would have played much better in that series if we had H20 and TT. We were playing much better and I hope to see that unit come to life again and carry us further without Crawford. I really feel that everyone has forgotten what Houston can do. This is his chance to prove himself to be the tremendous player we know him to be. We will be fine and once they gel together Crawford's return will be that much sweeter.

yeah i agree...this is the perfect time for TT to step up. He should be more involved in the offense now...both him and H20 have to play harder than they've ver played. JYD, Sweetney ,ariza and Penny will also get more time which should improve our D until Lenny is fired or KT is traded. Then with TT on track and Crawford back later next month will be in very good shape.

You're right has nothing to do with his build, but he's emulate.

You're right has nothing to do with his build, but he needs to emulate some one like Iverson, same type of build but he isn't afraid to drive in the paint.
