With about $190 left (has playe option for 67m in year 3) I can't see anyone tying up that kind of money on 32 year old Joel. 12 years in the league and has not played 500 games.

Joel is there with Reggie, Hali, and Trae: Talented Villians with no ring.

I'd think we way past Dolan's adolescent behavior keeping Isiah.
I understand Dolan being upset he lost his econmoic advantage with economic parity and the larger national TV deals which diluted revenue from cable, but here we are as champs!

I can can only rationalize the Ref's bad behavior to protect wemby as good for viewership. It did not work. Knicks still prevailed in 5 and wemby will sill be loved by a younger generation of fans.

I Respect Jaylen Brown but this thing about now having to trade him because hew was dangled for Giannis is a bit dramatic? Is it a FU to media fabrications or is he self absorbed. He has made $180 mil thus far and three years on a max deal and will nerly double that in the next three years. Dude has a chip and a finals MVP which does not entitle it forever. Now is he happy in Boston? Or using it as a way out?
This could all be a media fabrication as he is reportedly in europe for the summer. He can work on his game anywhere.
The kid is smart and can play.
I can hate the Celtic Uniform but can't indict players who wear it.
