But context and the reality of the moment rather than hindsight genius:He was rookie of the year. 20 years old and kicking ass. Some of you are fawing over Mo like he a sure thing. This kid was really good with that upside still!
age 21? better numbers and an all star!
Year three he plays just 46 games and hurt. He gets a pass right? Thats reasonable.
This year? Last year on the rookie deal and pressing it. Chemistry issues with Bane? No doubt, too much Iso and I'd think Mosley on the hot seat as he has not unlocked Bancharo potential.
Sure, we can sit here as knick fans and lay all kinds of uppity recomendations but if your the GM/President of that team you got to be shaking your head at the luck of this franchise and the injuries as well. Franz Wagner Missed 22 games last year (avg 24pts per!) and this year played just 34. His production is down but perhaps issues with injuries a huge factor.
Mosley a good coach, respected, but perhaps he is not the problem. I don't follow them that closely but I doubt they are giving up on Bancharo to the degree suggested.
We saw the start of last season what they are capable of doing if healthy and they are still a young core. More tweaks? Coaching change? A trade perhaps?
Bancharo is just 23. A bust? THats not a label for ROY or one that made allstar team. A "bust" is one that never reached a level of play. Perhaps Kwmami Brown or Anthony Bennett comes to mind. THis kid had a great beginning two year two year stint in the league, one injured year, and this past one perhaps should be very concerning.
Dude! Why did you feel the need to inject poor little Mo and all of us Mo ass kissers into this?
The issue being discussed was a # 1 pick in the draft costs a bundle to extend.
Compared to a very late 2nd round pick that had no expectations coming into the league, they are completely unrelated situations. Not comparable in the least. Come on man
I said "at those prices" he feels like a bust because if a team wants to change directions and he is now a non-tradeable asset then the franchise overpaid.
You implied the obvious but not that quote in parentheses.
Oh, I see, so you needlessly labored over the semantics of the word "bust" when you already knew I provided all of the context necessary to understand EXACTLY what I meant. I tend to be pretty meticulous about the points I make. It is not like you misunderstood my point that he may be overpaid and untradeable which you just admitted.
You knew what I meant and yet you still posted contemptuous drivel trying to stick it to me.
Somehow you used this unnecessary exercise over semantics to squeeze in yet another one of your boring and redundant razzings of the circle jerkers of the Cult of Mo.
What the hell is wrong with you? He's a rookie. Some of us are fans of his and think his upside is possibly great. Maybe he'll thrive, maybe he won't, nobody knows the future. You want to talk about Mo? Fine. But your repeated backhanded insults about fans of Mo are juvenile, particularly when injected into completely unrelated topics. Just shut up about it already.
This is not a place to be correct about everything said. It's just dudes talking about a game they follow. We don't need you thought policing us.
I'll move on again after this post. I don't hold on to stuff like you do, but if you keep repeating insults I will throw it back in your face. Keep me and your references alluding to me out of your posts.
Try and figure out how to state an opinion without trying to take someone down.
I don't know what other people have let you get away with before, but you cannot be that antagonistic towards me and not expect to get called out. Nobody else here is behaving like you are. Everyone else is being chill and respectful and just swapping comments and jokes.
