We really see this oppositely. I value the role players higher than the stars. Not because I think the role players like OG, Bridges, Deuce, Mitch are the best players on the team, but because I see defensive weaknesses in our stars that are exploited by good teams. People knock Bridges, OG regularly but they consistently take the hardest defensive matchups, hit above league average on TS%. They don’t have plays run for them, they make do with shots on the crumbs left from our stars.

So, if I were blowing up this team, it would be Brunson and KAT going out in my book.

I’d move

KAT / Brunson / Hart for Giannis / Dejaunte Murray, and Myles Turner in three way trade in a nano second. The numbers work with some filler between Mil and NOP.

Murray/Bridges/OG/Giannis/Turner… that’s like the Bucks championship team but better in many ways.
Alvarado / Deuce / McCuller/ Diawara / Robinson.

You need big time players and Brunson is the biggest big game player we've had in my lifetime. Knicks are 25-17 with Brunson in the playoffs and he's been the leading scorer on BOTH teams EVERY SINGLE SERIES. That is unheard of.

I'll be traveling the world by this time next season and I won't care any longer. To be fair, I don't really care now either since it is becoming more difficult to consider this MY team the way they take whole games off. So fk em, burn it down.

That’s very cool. I love traveling. We do two major trips a year. There are so many places I still want to visit. Where are you headed. My next trip is Croatia in the spring followed by Galapagos later in the year

Been to both. Galapagos we spend 7 nights on a boat with just 16 passangers. My 2 kids myself included. No tv, internet, etc for a full week! Wonderful place! THis was part of a 20 day trip in 2008. Great memories. Croatia is fantastic. Both sides of the Adriatic in fact are great. Lessor traveled parts of Italy don't have the tourist crowds and very Chill. My favorite was Matera. Beginning of last james bond movie filmed there.

That’s awesome. We’ve been hitting all of the UNESCO world heritage locations. I love Italy. I still need to explore the North. We decided to give it a break though and have some different experiences. We did South America last year, Argentina and Peru. All very memorable trips. I always bring my iPad and squeeze in replays of Knicks games during downtime but there really isn’t ever much of that. I just want go go go when we get somewhere new. I be been trying to hit the trips that are the most physically demanding while I still can. I’ve got the big six oh just around the corner 😁

Northern Italy is great, but the region becomes a bit of blur. I spent time in Cortina 3 years ago hiking about in the Dolemites and the food/architecture is very bavarian given its location. Reminded me a bit of being in Insbruk, Austria Make sure you get to Pulia, or "the heal of the boot" in italy and sicily. Lake Como is pretty but expensive and there are many other lakes that are nicer without the homes dotting it. I'd encourage you to visit Puglia/Sicily area. These are very different topography/food/wine but also less crowded and less touristy. Dollar goes further. I stayed a few nights in a pricey hotel in Matera and the whole expeirence was incredible. Modern hotel built into the caves! Not my room but we stayed in the epicenter and the view was amazing. Magical place at night. The region is a slower pace type trip as your not trying to cram in centuries of history like in Rome/Venice/FLorence......or eating thru Tuscany. All great things by the way, just different.

I got 39 countries in and all continents except Antartica. Thats getting pricy and the Magellan Straight by boat scares me.
I don't love cruise ships for many reasons and not afraid of taking a big one there but if the weather is not good they simply don't go there and chage the itinerary! One needs those kick ass smaller ships built for it. But thats a whole other story!

Naturally I have more stories than time even for the long winded Nalod. I also dig the UNESCO sites and try to stay away from cities. The Natural wonders and historical sites are far more interesting.

Our next trip? Going to Antiqua for a week to stare at the water and do nothing. I'll walk the beach and do Yoga. I don't like Yoga but maybe a few days of it will do me good and I'll get a groove on. 20th trip to the islands and its getting harder to find new places within certain price points as we prefer small hotels on the water. I need a rest and will get me ready for the playoffs! LOL

I'll keep crossing those wonders of the world of the list until I can't walk anymore :) Enjoy the sunshine I've almost forgotten what that looks like. Getting tired of this crappy weather.

OG? On paper a good enough game. When you watch the Demon, its when he does things that matter and the defense is not in the box.

Josh? Kinda of nutty Wemby was guarding him and not KAT. I understand why and if Josh hits a few of the open shots this game would been over after 3 quarters. Im not complaining, its an ensomble effort and if you looking forward to next year, you just might miss it.

Kniks are not a great team. There really are not any great teams in the league. Someone will be "best" and win a chip. OKC is very very good. Might be the best. After that, say 6 teams are contending.
