Kolek showing his bag on a big stage. very Thibian......Showing up on defense and making plays. That shot should start falling and he is a keeper for sure. A work in progress as it should be.

Tyler is not tiny and his "Annoying'ness" is developing nice.

While I can't advocate to not trade him if it helps the here and now, his accension only helps trade value if thats a thing. Young guard on good contract for a vet who can give us playoff presence? Maybe?

As for Yabu, I not no so quick to trade him. But, if he was signed before Brown took over and its not the right fit then lets get some one that will play in the system.

Yeah, Kolek is perfect for this system. I noticed that Brown always puts him and Towns in the game together. 2 amazing passers. I can see the logic.

Deuce is shaping up to be a homegrown sniper that plays excellent d. What he brings,in terms of swinging momentum and getting the crowd into it, is infectious and nearly impossible to replace from outside sources. That " Deuuuuuuuuuuce¡!" chant is worth more that an extra pass or two that Alverado can provide

NOT a nice shooter but I'm with you - I think he'd be a nice add (especially replacing Yabu) because he can handle/pass and defend.

Very smart player - not for everyone but I have always liked him.

Alvarado is a nice player but definitely not worth much. Maybe Kolek straight up with a some sweetening and i would prefer keeping Kolek who is an elite passer.
Herb however is an all nba defensive player and is respectable from 3pt territory. Just for the fun but with a line up of Deuce, Herb, Mikal, OG and Mitch i think the opposite team would score not more 60pts at the final buzzer.
I would love Herb on our team but not at the expense of Mitch and Deuce

Not sure Herb's one year of good 3 pt shooting was sustainable. I would absolutely not do this trade. Deuce+Mitch are way more valuable than Jones+Alvarado.

Here's my fake Yabu trade:

Yabu + Dadiet for Kevin Love / Svi. Love is ancient, but he probably moves as well as Yabu is and is more reliable rebounding, shooting the 3 and passing the ball. Svi is a great depth sharpshooter. Plus - we stink at inbounding the ball late, wouldn't it be great to put Kevin Love in for and game situation with his size and passing IQ?

Its not a massive trade but it works under the cap and I think he's a better fit as an 8-10 min depth piece than Yabu. Jazz get a prospect in Dadiet and maybe they can rehab Yabu's value by giving him more playing time, making him attractive piece in the offseason. Maybe we throw in some 2nds to make it spicy.

Anderson makes over 9mil. Has played just 8 games this season. Is he hurt? He is 32 years old. Can he play to our pace? How is his defense at this age? Does Utah want Yabu? Yabu signed here. I get nobody is happy but is he out of shape? Was it a mistake to sign him? He make a mistake signing here? Its not cool to give up on FA's after 20 games is it? Then exile them to Utah? No issues with KLove here if he can handle it. I doubt he can. I suppose him and his supermodel wife be ok living in NYC. Love makes over 4mm. He has played 15 games this seaosn.
If Yabu wants out, im cool with him being traded if his inclusion goes nowhere.

Knicks will do something this year. Remains to see what that is.

Hm. To pull off Robinson for H. Jones they’d need to throw additional salary at it. A deal without Svi but including Love and Dadiet or Kolek could work. Love is a reasonable backup to KAT for 15 mins a night that doesn’t destroy the floor spacing. But Jones is the guy I’d like even if his 3pt shooting this year has been questionable.

I’m still staring at Tari Eason and thinking up ways to make that work.
