I’d love to keep Mikal and OG. I’d be more willing to make KAT, Brunson, Hart, Mitch… available.

KAT / Bridges / Dadiet for Giannis / Turner works.
Brunson / Hart for Giannis works straight up. The numbers are surprisingly accurate.

I know “play with Brunson” is the media claim, but for me Bridges / OG / Giannis is the best trio you can end up with in a Giannis based team.

I value guys that play both sides of the ball much higher than anything. I think the sport fundamentally undervalues guys like OG and Mikal.

Trading Brunson for Giannis defeats the purpose. But even if it didn't, Brunson is probably the most untouchable player in the NBA. He IS the franchise, he's not going anywhere. Can't believe that even needs to be said after decades of trying to get a legit franchise player like him in his prime.

The 90s called and want their Iverson-esque logic back. This is just antiquated logic based in emotion. It only defeats the purpose if the purpose is to starphuch the team. You don’t put more pressure on the defense today with multiple ball dominant players. You put pressure on the defense by spreading the floor while dominating the paint. Brunson is lovely. Love him. Love to cheer for him. Wear his jersey. But he is a liability on defense. You can’t disprove that. GA is 2 years older? More injury prone. But I doubt Brunson’s body can withstand the punishment he takes every night.

Objectively speaking, any front office would want to build around Giannis over Brunson. It’s not Brunson-hate. It’s just common sense. A 7 foot athletic freak two way player or a 6’2 offensive marvel with amazing footwork/fakes. I am not hoping to trade him and there are very few players I would entertain this conversation on, but Giannis is one of them.

You know I gonna spin wit it

This reminds me of the Dame/Portland situation. The Bucks FO is going to try and get the best package they can get. Unfortunately, that's not Knicks.

There are only 3 Untradable players on this team. Jalen.Mikal.Josh. Getting them Giannis would/Should mean a title. If we can do it without losing depth. Our team is good enough to where the value of our players is at an all time high. (Except Yabusele) So we should be trading from a position of strength.

Some have already mentioned, but there are a handful of teams that can offer much better packages than we can for Giannis, especially when you consider we lack the draft capital. Giannis would have to force his way here. Even with that, the foundtion of theoffer has probably has to begin with Towns and one of OG or Mikal....

I'll also throw in useless Bot. When's Scorebot coming back online Martin?

Please don't remind me of the abomination of a draft pick that Trevor Keels was. From the first minutes of watching him play in summer league I did not understand what they saw in him. Still have no idea of a single skill he had at or above an average level.

I could easily part with KAT, Hart, Mitch, Hukiporti, Kolek, Yabu, Clarkson (and only if needed Deuce) + picks but would not move OG if traded with KAT. I realize Milw can easily get a better deal but really thinks keeping Brunson means we need OG to stay. Love Hart as he is the glue but we can't really play effectively with Hart and Giannis both being subpar outside shooters (yes Hart has shot well lately but historically not that great). I would rather move KAT in the Phx deal Narddog proposed and add depth with Brooks, Grayson and Nic Richards.

I know it's a little different then LeBum in 2010 and KD in 2019 cause Giannis is rumored to 'want' to come here but I'm not getting my hopes up or allowing my brain and emotions to entertain this too much cause it seems way too difficult to execute. It just doesn't make any sense for Milwaukee from a financial and asset standpoint. We do not have the draft capital or the young players to make this work. And I just do not see a third team willing to jump in and send picks and young players to the Bucks either for our stuff. Plus we are not the Lakers. Nobody helps us when it comes to these things. And I highly doubt the Bucks want players like KAT or OG anyway.

And does a Giannis trade really makes us better if it severely weakens the depth and bench? Would Giannis be willing to play Center? Cause Giannis and Mitch wouldn't work too well with spacing. Does Giannis even work with the Captain? When I think about it, as great as Giannis is, he's not a plug in play star like LeBum or KD. You kind of need to have specific skillsets and build around him.

So I'd put the Giannis traded here to about 1%.

Any trade for Giannis likely doesn't gut us because we can't make a 3 for 1 trade or anything like that because of the 2nd apron rules.

Knicks Greek/D-Brooks/G-Allen
Suns. Kat/Kuzma/Pacome
Bucks. J-Green/OG/M-Williams/multiples 1sts and multiple 2nds

So Knicks ship out picks Kat/OG/Pacome for Greek/Brooks/Allen — tough to lose both Kat/OG but Brooks is tough kid and defender and Allen not chopped liver.

Greek
Brooks
Mikal
Allen
Brunson

Mitch/Yabuty
Josh
Clarkson
Shamet
Deuce

Man, yes I want Giannis, bu please don't force me to root for Brooks and Grayson ****ing Allen...our guys are so likeable...

Have strong feeling you would fall in love with both if on Knicks -- me personally having watched both enough, I think they play hard and are very tough players (particularly Brooks who signed big 4-year deal with Rockets and completely outplayed the contract).

Giannis with either Mikal or OG would be nasty defensively, and we might even be able to have all 3.

While Giannis (anybody really) is light years ahead of Kat on D --- I don't view him as a true defender any longer (at least during regular season where he routinely coasts on D).

That said I suspect Greek's D would jump to another level in playoffs but would also add don't think anything we might do will put us on OKC level. Not saying maybe we could upset them in short series but hard to get to where they are particularly given their pick/asset base to add even more.
