I know nothing about him, haven't watched a single second of highlights yet, but already a huge Dink fan!

Sam Vecenie had a great line about him. Basically, he can see him being an impact NBA player, but it won't be for the team that initially brought him in.

H.S. To the Gleague, and nobody drafts him? Was with Ignite last year. Two years out of High School and he not 20 yrs old until March.
25% from 3pt. Not much jumps off the page otherwise. He gets an audition.

Wonder if that is a knock on his personality or simply that he’s going to be a long time developing.

He does seem to talk a bit more than some kids —- hopefully that isn’t turning teams off.

I don't know how the hell to post it but there is a scathing +10 minute scouting video on Dink over on Real GM.

Guy basically saying he is horrible at everything and needs to find another league to play in overseas.

Beauchamp is intriguing. Felt like an Okoro comp to me but somewhat stuck on teams without real developmental opportunity. He has the biometrics but can’t speak to anything else cause there isn’t a ton of tape.

That’s absolutely the statistical review which I would normally prefer over qualitative assessments. Here, the stats don’t pass the eye test. He is rough rough rough on shooting form and other skills. But has made it this far on talent, size and athleticism alone. A mild step forward in skill would make him backup SG and a 6MOY candidate. A major step forward and we are talking wild thoughts. He’s the kind of player that makes you think. Like if Dan Hurley got ahold of this kid and got through to him you could have your starting SG for the next 20 years. Right now, he’s making a lot of mistakes and has bad form and still competes.

Looks like Beauchamp got Obi minutes in Milwaukee so he's been in the league for years and has does nothing yet. Watson was a 5yr player from a great program. Watson is probably a better project at this point if you are going to keep 1
