I have my doubts about Giannis in NY working. But if it has to be done I'd offer KAT/Bridges/Huk
With Giannis's usage rate, KAT will be lucky to touch the ball. Bridges has shown himself to be majorly clutch, but its the quiet play between those big shots.
Im against trading OG. A Giannis/OG front line will be in the running for the best defensive front line in the league. And OG knows how to play off the ball. Which he would be doing a lot with Giannis.
Giving up those 5 frps for Bridges was arguably a record overpay. Leon wanted Bridges on the roster, and that was that. But making that kind of a deal for a superstar wont necessarily get us closer to contending, if too much is going back the other way.
If OKC loses in the Finals, Giannis might be a tempting option, and they have the resources to make a record offer. What will it take to beat the other offers? What will be left?
Dont believe we necessarily need a high usage player like Giannis, maybe another all-star. If Leon hadnt given away the store for Bridges, I'd be more confident that he wont give away the store again.
