Karl-Anthony Towns has been a punchline for years.

Too expressive. Too stylish. Too zesty, they say. Like showing personality means you can’t show toughness.

But while timelines stayed busy roasting his vibe, KAT stayed busy hooping through pain.

He played through a hand injury in the East Semis versus the Boston Celtics, finishing with these numbers:
📊 19.8 points
📊 12.7 rebounds

Now, he's battling a knee injury against the Indiana Pacers in the East Finals, averaging:

📊 25.4 points
📊 11.8 rebounds

These aren't just stats. It’s grit. It’s heart.

The Knicks are one game away from going home. KAT? He’s out there limping, grinding, carrying.

You don’t fake this kind of resilience. You don’t average a double-double on one good leg if you’re soft.

Say what you want about Karl-Anthony Towns

...but don’t question his toughness.

Please take great shots and play SMART Kat -- 15 boards wouldn't hurt either.

- Mikal may be getting dinged because he's basically mirroring Hali minutes whole series but he has been meh thus far
- Hart I'm surprised isn't negative (-100)
- Mitch been both impactful and invisible
- Kat been balling - just keeps hands/hip to yourself

With Tim's rugged good lucks and body I often wonder how Kylie would treat him if he was working Dunkin Donuts or 7/11 job.

The only one who can stop KAT is KAT

Any word on Bradley or Nesmith?

At a certain age children learn to reconcile disappointment. Your posts indicate time has passed you by.
Should knicks lose I will have some level of enjoyment seeing you lash out your idiocy.

Both teams will tell media what fans what to hear.
One can reason we should be up 3-2 after game one. But we are not.
one can reason what ever StatMuse can muster to make us feel better but it don't change a thing.
If both teams are at their best we should win. But it don't work like that. Pacers might execute better and win. Knicks might have a fatigue similar to what Pacers had the other night and we even it up.

It simply gets sorted out on the court, not with our words. I do hope most of you are enjoying this journey.

We cant control what happens tonight. Just can go on etsy and ask witches to put spells on the Pacers and sit back and watch

We caused 20 turnovers last game. We need that sort of aggression to dictate the pace of the game and limit their transition.

Knicks have no quit. We know that. Just need the focus

Would like to see Mikal Landry and Delon (aka Dorian apparently since that’s what Reggie called him) to get up close to Tyrese. Don’t foul though. Just close the space especially since he shoots that chest level set shot.

Thibs needs to add another monkey wrench in Carlisle’s adjustment plan.
Constant sub out of Wright, Deuce and Shamet sharing in full court pressure on Haliburton.
More Mitch on Siakam!

What’s more unlikely?

Going up 2-0 on Boston at home?

Or beating Indy tonight and closing it out at home in game 7?
