Knicks were a tough read down the end of the season. We "hung on" to the 3rd seed while Indy surged.
We were without the NBA's best closer in Brunson adn then had to get him back in his groove. Also we integrated Mitch back into the rotation. All the while perhaps the secret sauce is "we take steps backwards employing new schematics". True for players and the team as a whole. In other words Thibs might have been preparing the team for the playoffs in ways fans can't see. We call for his removal as he not maxing the team, meanwhile the team is steps ahead of us. WE focus on results, they focus looking forward. Fans have our job to whine and second guess results, coaches have theirs to anticipate. The players execute to the best of their ability.

This team is dispelling the soft, and lack of grit lable most fans placed on them. You dont go 5-0 on the road in the playoffs and come back down 20, twice withoit grit and heart. Mikal has proved his worth an then some on the playoffs...

Yeah keep me out of that as well.

Bridges was inconsistent all year and his defense was often suspect. What he has shown is he has a different gear come post season and crunch time. KAT as well. To me the big hope I had going into this was those two showed they had some stones vs. Detroit and if they play that way vs. Boston we got a chance. KAT is the biggest most athletic guy out there. Bridges has shown having a finesse game does not indeed make you soft in any way

Anyone miss having broken-down old retreads on the third to last years of their long term albatross contracts which we would count down the days till they expired or we traded assets to be rid of them, on the team? I don't.

Noah?
Vin Baker?
Steve Francis?
Rolando Blackman?
Even Evan Fournier/Kemba Walker?

How refreshing to have a team full of players that actually are assets to the team!

I immediately thought of Vonleh when you listed Noah. I've blocked the other dude who was to lit for NY out.
