This works out well for summer league. Just have Nnaji and Hukporti split minutes evenly at the 5 and we are good. See what they can both do. I expect both to be on the roster given the low salary figures and the Knicks wanting to stay below the second apron.

The back issues are a red flag that’s an injury that has a knack for coming back just ask Amare. Not bc saying he can’t be a useful bench player he certainly can be but let’s manage expectations and extend Mitch

If the plan is to start Mitch next year we need some depth behind him so i'm intrigued by this guy and Hukporti. I also view Mitch as someone we might have to trade as well, so the depth is welcome even if we don't need to tap into it yet.

As much as Im a fan of Huk. He hasnt shown he's going to hold up any better than Mitch has. Time will tell, but I agree lets extend Mitch in the meantime.

Agree - the minute Huck was given a slightly bigger role he got hurt. I think that was a knock on him previously - injuries overseas.

Yeah if the Knicks are going to rely on these guys that’a great, but they need an army of centers for depth. Towns, Mitch, Hukporti, Nnaji and 1 more big is a must. Horford, Nance Jr, Boucher, Looney etc. a slight upgrade over Achiuwa.

C is a very demanding position these days, the way bigs are forced to cover so much ground defensively, and the break neck offensive pace. Honestly most C's are missing 20-25 games a year.

I look at videos of KAT a few years ago and he was so much slimmer, he could really stand to lose 10-20lbs. He looks chubbier more than anything now.

I guess there might be a middle ground. You remember when he first came into league and he couldn't post up effectively because he was too weak?

Huk is very injury prone but he definitely has potential
