This is not just a today thing this is an every day thing. Bigs on Hart makes it so we must hit shot if we want to win because the paint is clogged while they ignore him and have their bigs roam. The difference between that amazing offense we had early in the season and this crap now is teams learned to put bigs on Hart and clog the paint. He will shoot us out of a game more often than he will win us a game with his shooting. Teams are willing to take those odds. The post is pointing out we had nothing to lose tonight as we are sure of our spot. Why not try something new that may help in the playoffs. Instead we do what we always do and learn nothing new.

Think this is the most overrated narrative on the team. People act like Deuce would come in and hit 40 pct of 3s. He has been injured and inconsistent most of the year while Hart has been one of the most effective players. The Internet narrative of scapegoating him for all our offensive troubles when the only other options are obviously inferior is out of control.

Today they left him open for 3. He didnt think, he made the shot.

He didnt cause the extended brick fest from Payne and Deuce early in the 4th. He didnt cause Mitch to miss a dunk and OG to miss layups. He didnt cause Bridges to miss about 4 open 3s. He didnt injure Bryunson's ankle and cause him to play at about 70 pct of his effectiveness.

You are missing the point. The point is not saying he is guaranteed to hit 40%. The point is other teams won't stick a big on him. That means the big is on KAT and the paint is open.

If not for facing the Magic when they were filled with injuries that record would be even worse.
