Elite rim protector? yes. I don't specifically remember him being an elite drop defender last season. I could be wrong but I remember seeing a huge difference when iHart took his starting spot.

There was a stat last year that offensive players shot one of the lowest percentages on floaters against Mitch. That doesn't mean much against true stretch 5s, but it makes life easier for OG and Bridges.

I'll take your word for it. I don't remember Mitch as well as iHart because he is constantly injured.

Mitch has taken load management to new levels and he’d better bring the fire during playoffs

At this point? Savior is a bar too low. "Messiah" is more the expectation.
TJ Warren will be our Microwave off the bench and we ready to roll in the playoffs!

If not, Blow it up, fire them all! Hire some young no name GM/President and bring back Johnny Bryant!
What could go wrong?

Home grown player and longest tenured Knick. Fans have a soft spot for him for sure

I’ll wait for those that said there was no chance to explain?

Looks like Thibs agrees with the need to “upgrade at PF!”

Your crazy is similar to Charles Oakley's crazy. Its an old man crazy. There is always honest truth in there, but its often shrouded in grumpy old man rhetoric.

I'll give you full credit though. At the time of the KAT trade, I had no inclination that MitchBeast would be a Knicks starting center again. Not really sure if this happened by default or by plan, but you did call it and I did disagree.

You know I gonna spin wit it

Screw it, with Mitch at C, you're going to need to balance with more shooting. I'd move both Bridges and Hart to the bench and go:
JB
Deuce
OG
KAT
Mitch

Got a good mix of shooting and defense.

I think SG is Bridges natural position (and SF is OGs). Guys with long wingspans often get pushed out of position cause they can. I am looking forward to seeing the BIG lineup and hope its Brunson/Bridges/OG/KAT/Robinson for now. This lineup also has its flaws, but rebounding shouldn't be one of them.

We were lucky he was walking last year. I am excited to see him. It looks like they really took their time with him to make sure he was fully recovered and had his cardio in place.

Yes I agree he won’t be averaging 46 mpg immediately when he comes back.

He'll work up to that and perhaps more. No doubt worried about injury to the foot or anything else.
Return to form would be amazing. The game is full of risks. Mitch is one of them.

Kat and Huk are both injured today. How Hope Huks knee is ok!!!
