Shamet is a career 38% 3pt shooter currently playing 10 min a game shooting 29%.
A lot of those minutes are junk time so the stats are not clear.
I trust Thibs patience levels for the betterment of the team. If he yanks him, so be it.
If not, he looking for something to happen.

Shamet is known to be inconsistent and streaky. If he fixes that he would get minutes

He will have to.
He cannot be traded.

Playing GM - here's what I might try to do....

Move Mitch to LA Lakers for Vanderbilt & Wood
Sign Mo Bamba to Vet Min (he was making $2.6M this season) - not sure if this will take us over the 2nd Apron or not
Move Sims & 2nd Rounder to Miami for Burks

Do we at least get a pat on the head and a kiss on the cheek from Jeannie?

FWIW, I do not believe the Knicks will be dealing Mitch at a all-time low value. Better off holding or waiting till his value rebounds. And pray it does.

Same. Unless they get a Lakers offer they can't refuse.

I assume you have never seen Mo Bomba play because if you had you would not want him on our team

I would have to consider Mitch for Maxi Kleber and Dalton Knect. This would solve our bench issue and Knect is that high energy bench dude that can get red hot. This kid is going to be in the league for a long time. At 23 turning 24 years old, he is a rookie Thibs could play and trust...he aint no ordinary 20 year old rook.

Dalton's defense has been bad by a lot of accounts. I'm not sure he even sees the court with Thibs

No-Risk back-up C signing at 1 Year Vet minimum. He's actually an OK rim protector and probably a better option than Sims.

Not for nothing but Jericho catching lobs from Lebron and Doncic would be insane fun

I can see Bamba developing into a good backup C with thibs
