Im still eyeing Nick Richards and Josh Green from Charlotte. Money works for Mitch/Sims/Ryan. Question is what we can give in terms of picks. Seems like Charlotte is about to move Richards. I love Green as a 3 and D wing. Think he is a better version of Q Grimes.

Point taken on the cap eating contract. Two years (at most) would only take up part of our window with JB/KAT, whatever happens.

From what Ive read, the Rockets look like the destination. But Butler could be our (pricey) X-factor.

Gustav, less eggnog! Or even more alcohol, one of the 2. Gotta get the mix just right.

So mean! I think Butler off the bench would help push us over the top like, Kawhi did as a starter for the Raptors.

On a lighter note, Im finally walking again. Just got out of a group home where I was rehabbing. 7 months in hospital, assisted living center, and group home. Still have a few more months to go until Im close to 100 percent, but its nice not sleeping on hospital beds anymore, and to be walking again.

Thanks for the kind words Chandler.

Last April I contracted Guillan Barré Syndrome, which is a rare auto-immune disease. It turns your immune system against you. Lost 50-60 lbs of muscle, which kept me in a wheelchair for 6 months, and learning how to walk again. Was a painful process, glad I dont need a wheelchair, or a walker anymore.

Given the fairly recent events of certain Bulls PG, it might be too soon to use that phrase.

True, but wasnt so far gone that I started a thread last season about trading Brunson when he was considered a legit MVP finalist. Like a certain poster.

If the cap hit wasnt that big, I'd be happy to see Butler with the Knicks. Wouldnt take any prisoners.

Well your meds haven't allowed you to think clear though, there is zero ways the Knicks could trade for Butler realistically. Zero.

Along the lines of trying to trade for Wemby.

Interesting

Green YES (another solid 1-3 positional defender who moves his feet) --- Richards I'm just not sure he's a defender or rim protector and zero track record of contributing to winning BUT maybe I'm wrong on him.
