I definitely have made the statement that no sane person in the NBA thinks Mikal was only marginally better than DDV.

It might make sense for you to quote me instead of whatever you are trying to do.

Both players have played poorly this year.

Do you stand by that statement?

Small sample set. I don’t know the decision making that made Mikal choose to tweak his shot immediately before the season. Whatever happened, we are here. But DDV isn’t doing so great in Minnesota either. So if we are placing the best version of DDV vs the worst version of Mikal, then yeah you can make an argument.

Let the man work his shot out. He is a stud.

I was a the game to day. OG is hurting. Its why he is falling. Who was their best player BTW? Brandon Miller. OG ****ed him up on one leg. Kid shot 7/25. OG wins the game.
In crunch time, it was hart making the coast to coast layups, Deuce with some clutch shots, and Brunson doing superman.
Credit to Jordi coaching in CLT with that rag tag lineup who obviously slowed the knicks pace. Looking that the first half stats you see it.
Knicks looked like a team that was on the 5th game of a long road trip.

Im concerned that OG has no lift, maybe that calf is bothering him. But he played really good defense!!!! That was the difference.

As for Bridges? Don't bench him. keep coaching him.

As for Precious starting thats going to be something Thibs won't give him until he is showing it. He will need 10 games to just get up to speed?
There is a path to true contention:

1. Keep the offense evolving.
2. Bring someone up from Gleague if Ryan cannot hit shots. TJ warren I'd guess.
3, Integrate Mitch and precious to tighten up the D. We are not that team now, but its about outscoring your opponent!
4. Keep all healthy
5. Are we prepared to jump on a waiver buy out? We have room?

Not because the way we are playing, but constructed is why I don't have strong contention vibes.
But.......Enjoy the growth my dudes. Sure the potential is there but chemistry takes time. There are moments to be excited about which is how it starts.
Tune off and be disgusted if you wish, but there was something in the game vs Charlotte that was good. A win.
Hornets had some good home cooking by refs and some breaks down the stretch but knicks pulled it out. They were tired. OG looks worn out or injured. He was a menace on Miller.
Hornets were playing footloose and free with their Yoot. They were prepared. They could not hold the lead and knicks got good stops. A few times the ball just went their way but the defense was there.
