I saw all I needed to see with Hukporti in SL. He’s raw but experienced. Give him a roster spot. Big, active and plays with force.

Sims looks like a really nice kid but he needs to start practicing saying ‘would you like paper or plastic’. I’m so freaking upset we guaranteed his contract and we’re going to have to let TJ Warren go instead because of cap space. This kid hasn’t improved even a little bit since he’s been here. Not an NBA player

This last game convinced me that Huk is way more valuable than Sims. Sims is just clueless most of the time. Huk is more aware, more polished even as a rook.

Agreed. The big issue with Huk is can he play defense without fouling. Sims fouled out in a previous preseason game but last night he was able to play well and give good rim protection by just going straight up. I'm not really sure what happened with the Roy Hibbert defense but it seems like just making it harder to shoot is a better strategy than swiping for the steal, block, or foul.
