As a father, this piece about KAT made like him a lot. Showing his love to these kids just warms my heart.

Seeing Randle and DVo holding those Minny jerseys hurts. You get attached to players. And both of them were good people and good role models too. I always admired Randle the family man.

But if KAT plays well, I will grow to love him too. Just how I've grown to love OG. We just need KAT to be himself but when push comes to shove, he cannot be a punk. We lost a lot of toughness in Randle and DVo. The identity of the team changed. The experts say we are better but we will see. I saw this team as a 55 win team if we stayed healthy and got a little lucky. I still feel that way.

Theoretically speaking - Randle can opt out of his contract and become a free agent after this season. He could then resign with the Knicks - Boom!

Honestly, I feel bad for both these guys. For different reasons. DDV signs a reasonable deal to play in NY with his buddies and gets shipped out a year later. I can't recall at the time if he had better offers or not, but if so, it would make future situations skeptical about giving a discount, only to be used as trade bait a year later.

DDV was given a great opportunity to shine and his brand might yield some endorsements given he did good in NYC!!!
He a big boy and it happens to other players on other teams. You don't get no trade deals often.
We resigned RJ then traded him. Big boy business.
