His tape is more impressive than the first overall pick.

I legit can’t tell difference between upside of Pacome and some of the other young guy/euro picks in this years draft. In a year, Pacome could have been a top 10 in this draft?

Thinking on it more, maybe a young Bogs is a better description. Same size and both have silky strokes. P Diddy seems more athletic and Bogs seemed to have more shooting consistency at the same age.

Watching video on this guy you can see the vision. With every Knicks pick from the current FO you can see the vision on what he could add to the team. The only exception being Keels. WTF were they thinking with that guy. He even looked trash in his highlight tapes.

Wonder if we will let him play in the summer league.

We still need to clear $5m and he can’t sign for us to hit just the first apron so we can have a decent chance of offering iHart his $72m.

It’s not that they need to save $5m, they need to add a net $4m to the trade. Lots of ways to do that. That will trigger aggregation rule, but push the hard cap to 189 (another 10m)
I think you have to assume that, armed with 5 more 2nds, the Knicks will be able to work another net 4m into the deal. Worst case is they have to include a Mitch Robinson trade. I’m not really worried about having to convince IH to play for 12m or so a year on a 1 + 1 deal. Worst case to keep iHart. They should do that anyway. It’s the added flexibility to add more pieces to the backup PF position and elsewhere that they need.

I think it will happen organically as teams work through free agency. Last offseason turned into like 1 single transaction with 14 teams exchanging parts.

You know I gonna spin wit it

I was high on some college kids that were available so a little disappointed there but maybe this guy ends up being good. Who knows. I don’t know why year over year I waste my time on all these prospects for them to take a French project.

Looks legit.

Agree w the baby Durant comments. He’s coming into a good, no pressure situation

I never thought I would see the day where a rookie could come to the Knicks for a good no pressure situation.

This feels like a really good incubator show of Knicks development culture

Isn't it basically "too bad" if the Knicks don't want him to come over?

Or maybe we "drafted" him for someone else.

Does he think he could possibly get any minutes under Thibs as a rookie on this team? He would have to go full Tonya Harding ( I know... I shouldn't even joke about that!)

I did see a tweet - perhaps in the iHart or OG thread- that there is a chance he can be on the roster with a contract.

As far as Thibs playing rookies- I don't think he has anything to worry about as long as he is ready to play defense and is smart offensively, with guys in front potentially getting hurt for stretches, he will certainly get a chance.

While we're dreaming, with OG Mikal Julius back i can imagine there will be more garbage time opportunities for him to get some time.

We've been talking a lot about Mitch, and previously Bogs, moving for various reasons. What's the deal with Burks (who i like but....)
