Lebron at point forward is interesting.

I like our team. Champions or not.
Give me Giannis though, and I might change my tune.

I think Giannis is more realistic. I would not break up this team in a trade though. We need to keep our core together.

If he did that and we won a chip it would cement his legacy. But he won't. He's just going to leverage LA until they give him a multi year max deal

You don't think his legacy is "cemented"?
My opinion he in the conversation with MJ, Kareem, and Wilt.
Chips? Add Bill Russell who has 5 more than MJ.
I stopped doing the "Goat" because its generational. If one does not like Lebron, then one won't put him on top. There are many ways to measure. Winning? Russell has 11 in 13 years. Dominance over the mean? Wilt. Finals perfection and perceptions? Jordan. Unstoppable force in high school, college and pro's? Alcindor/Kareem. Career? Lebron. I can live with any of these guys being the GOAT. Its a team game, not tennis or golf.

If Lebron wants more chips, then he has to take a massive pay cut. If he cool with his legacy and wants to play with son, he can leverage it up with Lakers.

I mean yeah, he's in the conversation. That's really the point though. He's still playing and can can change the conversation

I'll settle for Sabonis, too.
However, both those guys make a lot more than Randle, so we'd have to give up a lot to get (as you're implying).

Knicks reserving that title for CP3 off bench next year.

Feels like LeBron and Donovan is heating up in Cleveland and Garland will be traded most likely for more firepower.

Shams saying Donovan leaning towards staying, Garlands agent saying they will ask out of Donovan stays, LeBron going to Cleveland playoff game court side

For a Lakers-Cavs trade to work, Garland needs to be included just to match salaries, right?

A perfect fit for me is KD.

Short term, high-end super efficient shooter/scorer who won’t dominate ball and can defend at high level.

use picks on Rooks or trade to fill out roster. Bring Bojan back also.
It won't work that way. Change is inevitable. Like most I never saw Brunson take it another huge notch to top 5 MVP nor OG have the kind of influence on success as he has.
Our FO has won my confidence. Even with mistakes like Kemba we on the right path!

Front office is practical and frugal. They gave up second rounders for Bogs for God sake. I can see them drafting some rooks and keeping Bogs at least thru the trade deadline. Even keeping Burks for the vet min after getting I Hart and Precious to return
. I can see Mitch being traded too injury prone maybe for future pics and a player with same contract. Team is frugal and practical in their acquisitions.

How about Mitch and 2024 draft capital to move up for specific drat target or specific veteran piece.

I’ve been so impressed with D Jones Jr growth as defender and shooting but he looks destined to stay with Mavs

Yuck to CP3 —- 3 years ago ok but seems like ball dominant jump shooter only that will likely be on injured list when needed most

I’d rather KD cement a legacy by helping us win chip.

Doubtful he takes less than $50m?

Absolutely not.

Let the circus go elsewhere. Wants every coach fired, cryptic media bull **** and forces every team to make panic moves. Our culture and chemistry is awesome.

5 first rounders for Bridges or run it back with team we have. Bench goes back to Bogey, Precious, Mitch, Hart and Deuce.

Logic is on your side. People tend to act in their economic interests. But Cleveland would be a safe place for Bronny. NY less so. They are clearly trying to distance themselves from the argument of playing together but there is a certain element of collusion they should be trying to avoid as well.

I could see Lebron skipping logic and maximized salary to play where he wants to play. He did that on his way to Miami.

I would love it if a deal could work for Lebron and he could help push us over the top. Even if he came for a vet min - I would worry about the culture and chemistry- no fault of Lebron, but he would likely mess it up.

I like the idea of KD- but again- not sure the money can work.

Right. There is the discount into cap space and then his current level of contract. Doubt he dips below $40 per on a year.

Thibs and any player over 35ish is asking to end that career.
None of you watching our injuries pile up?
Imagine adding more fragile players to our “rotation.”
