Incredible a guy with that cred coming up gets to the NBA and becomes offensively avg.
That his true path to staying in the league is as a player that does so many things other than scoring.
It might not be the path to his succeed in his dreams but its a damn fine wage and sticking in the league is so damn hard.
We slam guys like RJ and as he was picked third for being a disappointment but how really hard it is to get a to where he is today. A dude making 25mil a year and putting up numbers!

His trajectory in Toronto was not going so great but due to injuries and not fighting the coaches he'll get paid here or elsewhere. How much? Who knows but he is playing up as a knick and when you do it the "Thibian" way, you get paid!

How about this? Is it possible that at the end of a tight game Randle gets subbed out for PA on the defensive end?
Will PA push Randle defensively?

Thats a great question. I would also add in crunch time offense as well. I get the feeling that with all the offensive firepower we have now, that Randle wont feel the weight of winning the game in the final seconds like he used to. Was starting to look that way before he got hurt.

If Randle is having trouble closing on either end of the court. Like you said, PA is playing well enough to remind Jules that Obi is gone, and Precious has shown he can handle more minutes. Thibs is a fan.

This is why I don't put too much weight to the rotation and Thib's minutes rotation and how many guys can and will likely play. There no doubt will be some of that and you just can't satisfy every guy who may deserve minutes. But really, who cares about that.

It now becomes something about having the extra types of guys you can use in certain match-ups during the playoffs, cause that's what it's always about during the playoffs. And the Knicks have extra weapons and extra fouls and extra insurance.

And they've needed it.
