He's been a much better passer with the Wiz. Which is one of the reasons why I'm in favor of this move.

Mitch talks a good game when it comes to getting buckets. We know its more than talk with KP.

KP has a place.. we would sorely miss what Mitch does/brings, and I dont love KP's motor. I love the IDEA of KP, but the actual player is just not the best

funny on 2nd thought I would pass. Mitch is a really important piece to any puzzle. Rim protector and one of the league's best on the offensive glass. Was a monster in the Cavs series and the player they had no answer for... KP isnt the guy I'm getting back in a deal involving Mitch.

We need more scoring from the 5. When Grimes isnt shooting, its 3 on 5. I wouldnt describe KP as washed defensively, or on the boards. Perimeter D might suffer, but KP's scoring more than compensates.

Mitch didnt have the scoring punch Adebayo did. One of the reasons why they got by us. Miami adds Lillard, we will be even further behind.

That's a high bar to set IMHO. Most all centers in the league have trouble on the perimeter.

Most all centers also don't shoot above 35% from 3point land.

He was dreadful on the perimeter though, and he's no better now.

guys like mitch however do a decent enough job -- maybe not Bam good but still.

this is just very risky in my book. guy plays well on a bad (3d) team. Still don't have a clear sense of why Dallas dropped him

I just have a tough time believing the guy at this point.

I think it's a trade off as Mitch guards much better (perimeter) but can't offer much offensively wheras KP can stretch and is serviceable preotection-wise in the paint. I don't know if there are enough balls to go around if Randle and RJ remain along with Brunson.

My other concern would be could Thibs move away from the iso-heavy style so we could better utilize having this much offensive talent on the floor at the same time?

agree re Mitch on offense. He can offer some more akin to Deandre Jordan and lob city but only if you use him that way. He needs to develop something. Between his being used so little that he's literally surprised every time some one passes him the ball, and all the iso between RJ, JR, JB our offense is way too predictable and it really gives at least half of the opponent's team a chance to take a breather

Porzingis is coming off perhaps the best season of his career. He averaged 23.2 points, 8.4 rebounds, 2.7 assists, and 1.5 blocks in 65 games (32.6 MPG) in 2022/23, posting a shooting line of .498/.385/.851.

I'd like this move for Boston, but it doesn't really address their biggest weakness. They need guards who can drivble a basketball under pressure.
