Any adjustments on defense have to start with Brunson. The Heat are relentless in targeting JB with picks and off the ball actions to free shooters and get the Knicks scrambling. Maybe having JB guard Kevin Love is a viable strategy. Love is the least mobile of the regular Heat players and doesn't have much of an inside game anymore, averaging 2 shots per game inside the arc. K Love can shoot over the top but JB is a pesky man to man defender and can at least harass him into making poor decisions. Randle can match up with Butler, Robinson with Bam, and Hart and RJ with the shooters.

If NY can force K Love to post up JB, I see it working in New Yorks favor. Miami can't run their favored motion sets and officials are usually a lot more strict with offensive fouls when it's bigs backing down guards. JB is also one of the best in the league at drawing offensive fouls and charges. If K Love gets positioning, Mitchell Robinson can come over to double and force Love into making a pass. Love has a good assist to turnover ratio but I think a lot of that comes from the perimeter where the angles are cleaner.

Love is a PF right? Putting our PG on him on the perimeter is an interesting idea. However, I think that if JB was to guard Love in the post that might be asking for an injury

Free throws and 3 point shooting needs to be in 35-40% range. This shooting threes in the 20’s bs needs to stop it won’t work against Spo’s zone

2. Hope Butler sits out or is severely limited with the ankle
3. Hope Vincent has an offgame and doesn't look like Curry 2.0 and hope Straus, Robinson, Martin and Lowry have a bad shooting game from three
4. Hope we get fair zebras and we can hit 75% of our FT's
5. Hope we outrebound them by 10
6. Hope Randle can duplicate what he did in Game 2
7. Hope the rest did well for Brunson and he can drive and play better defense and has another monster game and can hit two threes
8. Hope IQ and Grimes wake up and make shots
9. Hope we can hit ten threes as a team
10. Hope Thibs used this time to come up with a better plan defensively that doesn't allow the cHeat to shoot 30 open threes

The refs not nakedly favoring Miami would definitely help. 14 fouls in game 1?

These games are won and lost be secondary players. We need iq and grimes to hit their 3s. We need them to play like really good players

Free throws and jump shots are low. Usually that’s tired legs but with all the rest they are getting and nba drugs they are taking, there should be no excuse. I just know from personal experience when free throws and jumpers are off, my legs are usually tired. Hopefully thibs let them rest a little in practice. We need fresh legs today.

NBA drugs?!?! 😱 What might those be? You're not suggesting some of these guys are taking things like growth hormone to speed up recovery? And the NBA is turning a blind eye to it with it's shoddy testing? No way! I refuse to believe it!

Free throw shooting has to improve as a team

More production off of bench

Fast break

Be the more aggressive team at start of 3rd quarter

3pt shooting at a higher %

Hold their role players in check.

Knicks aren't following my keys to the game. 3rd quarter is gonna either make or break this game.

Bring back dee-fense
