I get it. Some are too far right and too far left. But for either side to continue to call someone out who doesn’t 100% agree can be toxic over time. Not saying he is by any means, just acknowledging the feedback in this thread. Got it

With courtesy I don't believe Thinking the Knicks are infallible vs Thinking the Knicks are just very good is the issue here. It was/isn't about agreeing 100 (or even 75%).

It's about behavior, which is a whole other thing.

well its obvious that he cares passionately about being the voice of anyone who doesnt want their throat jumped down after a loss, or anyone who struggles to understand that the only thing you need to follow in Kobe's footsteps is to be that age.... at some point. Also green check boxes. He cares about those as well. So after some review and perspective he's actually pretty well rounded

I loved sam. Saw him perform live a few times. One of my favorite memories:

Sam’s performing at the beacon theatre in the 80’s. I brought my mom to see him ( she was a real character - liked this kind of stuff).

I look behind us - seated directly there are al goldstein and ron jeremy with a couple of porn stars. I say, “hi al, hi ron.” They give very warm greetings back. I say, “i want you to to meet my mom. Mom, this is al goldstein and ron jeremy.” They give her very warm greetings and introduce her to their porn star dates, something like, “this is candy and fawn.” they give her a big hi.

We turn back, the show’s about about to begin. My mom leans in to me and says, “well those are a couple of very nice jewish boys.” One of my great memories of her, i laugh every time i think about it. And she LOVED sam’s performance that night.

Hilarious. Caused me to think of a time in the 80s my band and I after a gig were having late night breakfast at the Ukrainian diner the Kiev in the East Village and a matronly woman and her friend overheard us talking shop and mentioned her sons were both in rock bands. One was Joey Ramone! The funny thing was she kept pushing her other son’s band. Nice Jewish lady for sure!

Many chill down and after a banashment are good but then revert to the emotional side and lose it. TMS, Playa, Playa2, and some others. key is unmitigated arrogance that they are always right even when faced with facts. Most of us makes mistakes and learn from each other.

I have been accused of pushing some of them over the cliff. Might be true. But at the end of the day making **** up and getting called for it, or not admitting plagiarism is never cool.
I forget who, but they'd cut and past stuff and pass it as their own. Well, quick search usually would get that sorted out and it had to be presented as such.

Its ok to be enthusiastic, but there are limits. Nobody likes losing, but to expect it as if the games don't matter is another story.

Sabonis in first quarter was a monster. I fell asleep on the game after that.
While we on it, seems to be SAC is doing very well and no slight on Haliburton but its a nice Win-win trade for both teams. Haliburton became an allstar and Sac with Sabonis is very good.
It freed up Fox also. Sac got panned for it but seems like both teams did well.

Fans are focused on who wins a trade but a solid GM (with Tenure) is about elevating the teams result. That takes years sometimes to determine.
Paul George to Clippers for Shai AND that Cache of picks looks silly given how good SGA evolved!. Fact is Thunder have yet to make noise and cLippers in win now mode with Leonard.
Still too early. Clippers not exactly setting the world on fire but they have been solid most of this year and are building their own brand and building from the Lakers arena. "The Crypt"!!!
