They bumped up Keels to the big roster and had a two-way slot available.
Got it. Was thinking also about why a guard? Unless they want more scoring off the bench.
Arch's replacement. A guy you know can at least provide decent minutes in the event JB or IQ goes down. I wouldn't have minded a combo forward in that slot tho.
We've got Deuce who just lost his rotation spot due to acquisition and not because of play. And we've got Rose just sitting there, definitely more than capable of being an emergency third stringer.
Really don't know much about him, but I've seen the numbers, and I've seen some highlights. Assuming this is just a "because he was there" sort of signing. Young player who's shown flashes and was available for nothing. Snatch him up now, who knows what happens in the off season. I expect that the FO will be more aggressive on the trade market, pushing for a legit big 3 with Randle and Brunson. Not all our young guys may be here in Sept.
Good signing. High energy aggressive scorer who is not afraid to shoot the ball. Good athleticism.
Another dog mentality type. Better than Deuce or Rose right now. Imo.
He came out in the same draft class as McBride and the Rok. I wonder how much interest they've had in him prior to the signing. You could do a lot worse for a two-way guy at this point int the season.
Always... always remember: Less is less. More is more. More is better and twice as much is good too. Not enough is bad, and too much is never enough except when it's just about right.
