Hart is out tonight against Philly. Jeffries and Keels have been moved to the active roster. I expect Hart to be available tomorrow against the Jazz

I'll own up to it - I'm hoping for Melo.

100% emotional, not at all logical. I understand it doesn't move the team forward - in fact the minutes he'd take away would be a detractor more than anything. Poor Obi probably loses the precious few minutes he's allotted.

But bring back Dad Melo to back up Julius 12 minutes a game. Let him hand off the baton to our 2x all star and watch over our baby Knicks for 2.5 months, and then retire a Knick.

Won't happen, but nostalgia's beating out reason.

If Melo could be counted on as a reliable clutch long-range shooter specialist, like Paul Pierce or Ray Allen were at the twilight of their careers, he'd be exactly what the Knicks need, especially in the final minutes of games. Most of our games are down to the wire affairs. But I would be worried how much time spent away from the game will have affected his ability and readiness.

Why not, now that EA7 Emporio Armani Milan has beat us to Kemba Walker?

Show how to throw a full court pass lol.

Love is lazy on D. Thibs would rip him apart here

Thibs emphasis on D is um.. overstated. Anyway it would be mostly to point out things to the young players from the bench. I like that idea better than a player who probably wont crack the rotation anyway.

Kevin Love can’t guard most of the posters on this messageboard. Thibs likes rim protectors and that’s exactly what Kevin Love isn’t

I don't imagine they don't have deep aspirations this year. Mosley will be fine but needs more time.

I'd expect Westbrook to Miami? Seems like the thing they would do.
Melo still not on any team in Los Angeles? Maybe he like "I will come if I play"? Not saying he a diva, but its logical. Does he really need to sit on the bench?

I'm having a hard time keeping up with all the roster moves but I think LAC moved off of John Wall and Reggie Jackson and would now probably sign a buyout candidate in Westbrook? Westbrook wouldn't even need to move then?

Thats obviously a great guess. Have to wonder about chemistry and accepting a role that might be humiliating to him.
I wonder if he is done or does he go back to the lab, reinvent himself and pull a “Melo” type rebirth?

We have three rim protectors. This is about playoff matchups and spreading the floor with a shooter that has rebounding skills if needed. Need big body that can hit a foul shot and has experience.
I don’t see him coming.

Love is a low energy stiff who gives zero effort on defense. We are trying to develop a winning culture here not bring back the nostalgia of the Isiah “hey look I got us a name” years

If you think Kevin Freakin Love is the missing piece that puts us over the top that’s just wow

Everyone from his draft class except Lebron is long since retired.

Melo is a fungible NBA commodity right now.

His time is over.

Hey, Stephen A flipped out because Knicks took KP over him, now's our chance.

For as good as San Antonio is they have messed up on many first rounders the last few years. All teams mess up.

Your reading comprehension is not always in tippy top shape is it?
We have 3 rim protectors with limited offensive skills. You say Thibs likes rim protectors.
I said “We need big body that can hit a foul shot and has expereince. I don’t see him (Love) coming”.
And then you said: “ If you think Kevin Freakin Love is the missing piece that puts us over the top that’s just wow”.

It is just “wow” how bad your debating skills are.

I think Detroit is the team that drafted him.

I was thinking Kyle O'Quinn. I actually liked him.
