I'm thinking R.J. Barrett is going to have a MONSTER GAME @ Brooklyn tonight.

Grimes guard all the nba stars every game. Talk about development. I think thibs will use deuce on kyrie to give grimes a break. He’s going for 50 with no KD or Simmons.

Grimes is so under utilized. Poor guy is chasing everyone around and rarely gets a good look.

Way to much pounding the ball out there from Brunson and Randle. Thibs needs to do a better job drawing up plays.

Not a very good 1st Q.

Only down 6 after 1 (22-28) but were down by 11 @ one point.

Shot 50% (but then again allowed Nets to shoot 50% from the field too).

The problem was sloppy offense (4 Turnovers).

Down 49-62.

And I don't like to swear but I swear we're LUCKY to be down by only 13 points @ the half. Ugh. Feels like we should be down by 25+ right now.

Brooklyn shooting 11/21 from 3 @ 52%? 11 3's allowed? 1 half? 🤮

Defend the 2nd half 3, have a strong 3rd Q and we'll have a 4th Quarter chance.

Just hopefully we cut into the lead and head into/enter the 4th Quarter down by no more than 6 points. In other words at least make it a game.

Thibs sub partner was interesting. The nets subbed out their starters early. And our starters could not take advantage of the nets bench. So our starters played longer in the 1st than usual. Then nets starters came in and played against our bench. And the lead kept growing. Unless the nets are deeper than I thought.

At least we cut it down to 13.

Sims is doing a good job holding the fort. ROLO might be done as a rotation player (IDK) but he could teach our bigs how to box out. Was one of the best in the league once.

Unfortunately its like 3 on 5. Grimes is great at sprints from point a to point b. But he's still learning how to take defenders off the dribble.

Randle is working his butt off. Only scoring big we have right now.

You're right about our big men not being able to score because Sims has no Offensive game and Hart is just a big offensive wasteland.

Would like to see Obi Toppin @ Center 2nd half because his 5 minute 1st half just isn't enough. We need Obi to score down low while helping out Julius Randle who's getting swarmed down low by BK defenders.

With that said just come out early 3rd Q with energy and we might be able to at least, make it a game.

It was the improved 3pt D that helped us get the ball rolling. Games like this make me feel like the ball has stopped lol.
