Patience isn't in the DNA of many if not most Knick fans, but it's a solid philosophical virtue to go with development on an organizational level. Keels looks easy to snark on and his future is real iffy but maybe the FO sees something.

The FO must be using this

I agree with the sentiment that we would know by now if pick worked out.

Don't we have 93 picks to make this year? Normally I'd say give him some runway to prove himself, but my guess is he's off the roster in the offseason

Should have transferred schools like Grimes did.

You do know why he transferred?

Because be played not up to his potential and the school had another blue chip recruit ?

He actually tested the Draft waters after a subpar year and Kansas thought best to move on. It was weird that he bolted.
Kansas thought they had RJ Hampton coming but he went pro in New Zealand.
Thought I read there was some weird sexual misconduct about him. I might have been wrong as there is nothing about it I can find. My recollection is that of surprise. Its possible he was never convicted or formally charged and the whole thing removed from any posts? Not easy but its done. In any event if it was false, then good for him. I seemed to recall he was at the wrong place with some friends that were not behaving well with a young lady.

Im really happy with his progress and think it best to let him and RJ keep developing. Both still have been upside as both are still really young. He clearly is being bought along with a cautious approach.

I take it back! Keels is the second coming of Gilbert Arenas!

Keels looks like he is in slow motion compared to everyone else. But those shots went in!

The whole game looks in slow motion. That’s an off night for Deuce when he plays there.

He still looks fat but he's 19. 5 star recruit that Nova and Kentucky wanted in addition to Duke. There's some talent with the guy- he should have stayed in college and worked on his fitness and game some more, but who knows, with a little coaching he could be like Lu Dort...he's built the same way, probably at least as good of a shooter. Now you gotta see if the guy is willing to bring the same work ethic to the table.

Which was a decent career actually.
For a 2nd round pick, that would be fine.

Thanks. The G-league is good for putting more tools in the the tookbox, so to speak. But its another thing to do the same in a packed arena. Why I dont get too hyped about G-league unless they are making it look very easy, like Trey Burke did years ago.

Only way we will know for sure about Keels is to give him a chance.

Trevor is rolling. Maybe the best shooting former Duke player on the roster.

NICE thanks for posting these, I love watching them.

Man, Westchester offense looks exactly like what Knicks are running. Get reps for Keels

Not really, but at least he's showing improvement. Before he was looking like a Chris Smith level player and now he's looking like he's at least on the level of Wayne Selden. He needs to work hard in the off-season and then take it from there.
