![]() LaVine's knee scares me. He's lost a step and who knows if he'll ever get it back. Plus he's due a lot of money.
I'd pass for now. Ask me again in the summer. |

Grimes is rising and I'd rather stop to see where he tops out at. If Lavine regains his physical pop, I might think about it. But it's still probably a hard no. Trade IQ and picks for him with Rose. Then trade for Kuzma to play 3-4 off the bench or a back up two way who can play center /PF to back up Mitch and Randle. IQ OBi Rose Cam Hartenstein Fournier and picks to get two solid rotation two way players with size. Then we still have picks in both rounds and player exceptions to round out the bench going forward. I would like also to trade for Tari Eason or Chris Duarte if OG and Kuzma not available. We have plenty of other options. RJ also could be the bench 2-3-4 if we trade for a superior player to him for the starting lineup. Than you don’t trade for OG. He doesn’t raise the ceiling of the team over RJ or Randle, especially with the way this starting lineup is clicking. If you blow up this starting 5, it’s because you get a superstar. |

All defensive type SF, can make a 3pt shot at league average. RJ is more durable, that’s it. Official sponsor of the PURE KNICKS LOVE Program

You know we are playing good when we are turning down OG type players, who I thought has 2 way All Star potential. Also what kind of package would Toronto ask for in a trade scenario? ![]() The Knicks number #1 priority should be trading RJ Barrett before February.
The problem with trading RJ Barrett is no NBA team want all Barrett's flaws. I'm so angry with Leon Rose for giving Barrett an extension SAD The Knicks having a healthy Grimes and Quickley skills at the 48 min SG position, plus sitting D.Rose dynamic combo skills to backup Brunson or Grimes (replaced by Deuce McBride). That take away Barretts minutes at any of the guard's position in the Knicks 48 minute rotation (6 game win streak!). Taking SF Cam Reddish 2-Way hustle performance out of the rotation in his contract season to give RJ Barrett 34, or 36, or 44 minutes of playing time at the SF position to keep on TRYING to get chemistry with the 8 teammates in the rotation at the SF spot. Good Luck! |

![]() Brunson - I’m not looking to trade Brunson. He’s putting in all the right work. Could I find a longer PG, yeah, but this is solid.
Grimes - Becoming a core piece here. I see SGA available and it makes me think, but I think Grimes is the better 3 point shooter (despite some odd splits). I’d want to see the Knicks add a few plays to get Grimes open and not just make him the release valve. Barrett - The only 22 argument still works. Looking for some consistency here. I think if an OG - Barrett trade materializes, you really have to look deeply at it. Randle - Man, I love and hate this player. When he is getting to his spots and picking up the double teams, he is a force to be reckoned with. When he forces the shots and Carrie’s the weight of the world on his shoulders, he is a drag. I believe though. I think he can be elite. Robinson - I don’t think people realize how valuable he is. I think he made Vuc want to retire. He’s got a bit to learn still and probably could use an old school center to teach him all the tricks to dominate the block. Bench McBride - Looking for him to continue developing for the next couple years. Could see him taking over the lead PG role with his defense. IQ - His length and commitment to D are what make me love him. I think his odd shooting form makes it impossible to stay consistent. Simple answer is he has to fix his form. Infinite Range, low probability of success. Just needs more work. Cam - Still believe in this guy. But looked lost quite a bit. Maybe a few GLeagues would sort him out.
Hart - Sometimes I think this guy is Jokic Jr and other times I wonder if he belongs in the NBA. Sims - Guy is awesome. Love seeing him develop. You know I gonna spin wit it

He doesn't have to shift or change trajectories on his drives to the rim as much as RJ because he can bounce everyone of his shoulders once he gets downhill. And he's more explosive. But don't expect him to do much playmaking. He's a finisher. Always... always remember: Less is less. More is more. More is better and twice as much is good too.
