Anytime I feel the urge to crap on Dolan, I'll stop and think to myself:"At least he's not Joe Tsai!"

Reports say KD is now demanding he be handed a new puppy during every time out.

Otherwise he wants to be traded.

Agree. Nash may or may not win more games than Thibs. But Nash would be a great development fit for the guards. This is no longer the days where defense alone is all you need to win. The nba rules were created to produce more points not less. So these old school all defense no offense coaches will become extinct.

In my playing days and even now I’m a defensive player who loves defensive coaches. So I don’t hate thibs I just think a different coaching style may be a better fit for these guys. Dantoni was talked about like a dog and I was the main guy saying he needs a defensive coordinator. Fast forward to now and I can honestly say Dantoni was ahead of his time.

Imagine what Steve Nash and Dantoni on the coaching staff would do to this offense? Sure the defense will take a hit but nothing will compare to how the offense will increase. I rather be entertained if we lose then to fall asleep watching thibs offensive plays. Thibs top Play: Dribble and pass until you get an open shot. When you’re open shoot or I’m taking you out. 🤣

It would be like injecting steroids into an offensive system that lacks flexibility. We have guards and players that are wired to dominate on offense. Even EF might look like a keeper. So it would be interesting but I doubt the Knicks pull the trigger. I’m sure Obi would get an uptick once Nash sees him running the floor like Amari used to do in phoenix.

But right now this Is just a good bar room discussion. But don’t let us lose these next few games by double digits.

Between Nash being fired and Thibs on a hot seat (assuming we continue to lose), the NYC media will have a field day leading up to the thxgiving and Christmas holidays.

I don't know if he has it on him. Imagine coaching that team for a couple years. I think Steve's mind and soul may be irrevocably broken. They still have to pay him tho. Hopefully he does become another John McAfee.

I’d do it in a second. Nash would actually be able to do his job!

The Nets should just go full d-bag mode and trade Nic Claxton for Miles Bridges. Might as well own the complete @$$hole image they have.

So it was just slightly over 3 years ago that the Knicks were the joke butt and laughing stock of ESPN, Twitter, sports radio, and a large portion of pundits and fans for "failing" to sign KD and Kyrie. The Nets were cool and darlings. Anyone owning much less eating those words now? Of course not. Anymore than they would for saying how terribly we got fleeced in the Porzingis trade. Or not drafting Stanley Johnson instead of him. Or whatever.

It's good to be a Knicks fan!

Am I missing something here?.....As far as we know, Udoka made some unwanted comments towards another co-worker and he was basically fired for it.

What else does Ms. Mallory Edens want to happen? Should we "cancel" him now? Burn him at the stake? oh, I know...lets castrate him!

I can't stand people like this.

More in the vein of having a consenstual realationship with a married co-worker which is stupid but not a crime. Reason companies don’t permit it when one party does not want it to end and there are families involved and one party ccan intimidate the other if they did not want it to end.
Rumor, and there were that Ime Slept with the owners wife. Not sure about that one.
I had read somene said he’ll never coach again in the leuage. Three weeks later he lands in BKN?

Miss Edens is daughter of one of bucks owners and I believe works for the team.
“I can’t stand people like this”. Is it a women with a voice you object to? This is an educated women. Granted, one with some prvieledge, but thats another world.

Personally I think Bringing Udoka back so soon does send a “Basketball first” message which nets are. They are also an entertainment company whose building gets massive tax breaks from taxpayers. We, men don’d fully understand how women feel about these things. And perhaps we have a bias against that. We don’t have to be responsible to but at least respect society norms. That said I don’t now that dude personally and all the details. But, perception is part of the game and if your trying to gain sponsers and fans Nets seem to be doing a bad job. BKN is a bout 20% jewish and I’d say like half Women right? Not all women care about Nets, or the issues the Celtics front office experienced.
Sean Marks built a good organization and I’d say Joe Tsai changed the narrative of where they should go when they persued Durant and Kyrie.

I have said this before with many things: “good idea badly executed”. You had the wrong personalities there. If Leborn was there he’d help drive a culture. Durant is not that charismatic. he is a basketvball geek. Hell of a player. Kyrie heart is int he right place but is stubbornly ignorant and seems very impressionable lacking the intelligence to seek a balance of facts and opinions. His “Cred” is he is an incredible basketball player. After that, he is nothing. He has torn down his brand and his voice carries no weight. He is irresponsible with his stature. Not to say he should bend to society and get vax’d or love they neighbor. Thats his choice. if he is uncomfortable being in the spotlight then he should take himself out of it.

Antisemitism, like most hate is rooted in inaccurate depictions and indictments of a whole group based on the actions of very few.

I believe in free Speech and not to muzzle him. But when you represent and injure your employer they should be able to cut him loose without penalty or having to pay him. Again, he is an entertainer in a business that requires a certain image. Citizen Kyrie is one thing, NY Nets Kyrie is not the same.

Nalod was disgusted by the knicks when they defended Isiah Thomas vs. Anucha Brown Sanders. The outcome was determined by in impartial jury. I think knicks should have seen this coming and rectified it sooner. Dolan wanted to fight it. Isiah is a tv personality today and Dolan is still an important man in the world of entertianment and sports. Knicks have a progresseive and diverse front office and moved on in a better way.

I hope Nets clean house and give their fans better.

They did Nash a favor. No amount of money is worth having to deal with that clown Kyrie every single day. Nash was always a professional and one of the good guys in the league. Definitely an overachiever and arguably the best PG of his era so he doesn't need this bs.

I'm upset Adam Silver hasn't said a damn word or done a damn thing. If this was any other group, he would have had a huge press conference. Kookie Kyrie should be suspended. To promote something so hateful with the amount of followers he has is dangerous. And it's amazing to me how a grown adult can believe such nonsense as that film.

And out of all the HCs you can hire, of course they would go hire a guy who is currently suspended for a year for poor behavior LOL. You almost can't make this up! The circus will continue with Udoka.

The only joy that comes out of this for me is KD looks even more dumb!

this would be a good place to rehab. Knicks are young. None of the players are hard to deal with. There's a lot of potential team growth

I do believe Udoka should coach again but I also understand a view that it is too soon. In any case, Udoka should run away from that Nets job. Irving is unsigned after this season and if I were the Nets, I would be trying to trade him to ensure I get something. Once Irving is traded, then Durant is going to want out. Now you are left with a fragile Ben Simmons who is scared to shoot. Udoka would be wise to stay as far away from that mess as possible.

We are running a lot this year. It's a change of philosophy. Nash as an offensive coordinator could really help us with scoring in transition and especially in PnR. We have the PG for PnR now. Need to use it
