The more I think about it, the more I think we end up trading this pick anyway be it 1st, 2nd, 4th or 11th. I don't think this regime will want to add another rookie.

you should watch that kid play... he's everything you would have hoped KP would be and has a great attitude. Good passer, fantastic rebounder, shot blocker, hits 3s... he would be an amazing piece to add

I'll admit I haven't watched him play - I just can't get past how skinny he is. The trauma of Fredrick Weiss & KP is still strong.

yeah but KP is an example of getting the talent right but the player wrong. There was no way to tell he was going to get hurt all the time and be an *******. If not for those things he didnt need need to be Ewing, just a unicorn. Imagine a healthy bounce KP playing the stretch 4 next to Mitch. You have good defense on the wings and you are in the Ben Wallace Pistons zone

Im not the biggest Chet fan.. his body type worries me as well. Think of these guys as pieces tho... and if he checks out a guy like Chet can do some wild things.

Im pretty sure it wont matter, but I am honestly really confident whatever they do with this pick really helps us. If that's taking someone they like at 11 cool. This FO has done a good job w/ the draft

They added like 3 rookies last year but if they get a top 4 talent they would trade THAT pick away and not someone from previous year?

no they will trade down 3 spots, pick up a high 2nd rounder, draft the guy they wanted then pick some Euro stash or sleeper who turns out to be a good prospect.

I would LOVE to see what we do with a top 4 pick

My dream scenario through the draft: Knicks get top 4 pick and select Ivey, trade Randle for the rights to Sochan.

I think Pacers and Spurs get a top 4 pick. We, as usual stay put or fall and we end up trading it by draft day

The FO has done a great job with the draft- an ok job with FA, trades. I worry if we land a top 4 pick, we'll use that to make a trade for Mitchell.

I think it’s a due process. The Knicks 17 straight years of not moving up. The stage is set for the basketball gods to throw us a 3 pick
